Intensity-Energy from Yogi Bhajan

Breath Infusion practice was thorough this morning. Each day one has to check to see how the practice is going. Each day with a sloppy practice is to be regretted. At first Srila Yogeshwaranand was there but then he signaled that I should take instructions from Yogi Bhajan.

The issue was the intensity of practice. It seems that Srila Yogeshwarananda is disgusted with my practice and thinks that it is not intense enough for me to get any more assistance from him.

So this is the situation. Anyway, Yogi Bhajan is a cool headed guy. He gave me some practice-impetus which I took. This is energy from him to cause the infusion to be tighter, more compressed and more directed.

When one is dealing with a yoga guru one has to put up with insults. On occasion when I am teaching someone, I insult the person. Then he goes away and I may not see him again ever. Such is this process. For me however an insult from my yoga gurus is nothing.

If your parent insults you so what, that does not change anything. You are still stuck with that parent. You cannot erase your birth record because your Mom insulted you or your father intimidated you in public. So with my yoga gurus insult is okay because they are the fathers. There is no shame in such insults. And it does not matter if they are right or wrong. It does not matter how I feel about it.

So Srila Yogesh left with disgust and then yogi Bhajan just graciously gave me an intensity-energy.

As soon as I got it I realized that he gave me this energy before in 1972.The reason why I lost the energy is still up in the air but one part of it was that after that I had to go to see Authur Beverford in Ojai, California. Both Beverford and myself had recently come back to the United States from the Philippines.

Beverford learnt yoga from Rishi Singh Gherwal but Rishi did not show him bhastrika. Beverford learnt deep breathing and nadi shodana. Since he was primarily a martial arts expert, Beverford did not focus mainly on yoga. I was the only disciple he had except for Sir Paul Castagna.

If you check on the Internet, I doubt if you would find one other person who was Beverford’s disciples for yoga (not martial arts) except Sir Paul and me. In fact the only persons who knew that we were disciples were his family members like his Philippino wife and their children.

In Ojai at his place, I showed him what I learnt from Yogi Bhajan but he was not privy to it. He issued discouragement energy. That caused my practice intensity to decrease. At the time I did not even notice that this happened.

So these are some of the problems one runs into with yoga gurus. Somebody was asking about how I know if these yoga gurus are valid or not, well this shows how they are valid and how they are invalid as well.

Because of Beverford’s unfamiliarity with bhastrika pranayama, my practice suffered. Anyway that is all part of the course.

Srila Yogeshwarananda is disgusted with my practice. So when I get things in order, he will again continue giving instructions. In the mean time I still have his energy in my psyche and that itself will give me intuitive guidance.

Tibeti Yogi has vanished, gone to the causal level. He is done with the subtle plane. He is carrying out high end yoga practice.

There was a student this morning who was practicing as I went through my procedure. Teaching a student is not the same as doing practice by yourself but with this student it is the same because he is there to follow along without my paying attention to his individual needs.

Usually in the presence of students I abandon my personal practice and try to study the psyche of the student and give directions which are tailored to that person. In any case, I did explain to this student something about wiggling the body to the left and right. This is done in many postures, especially in postures like lotus or when the bottom of the trunk of the body is in contact with the surface.

This allows any charged energy in the trunk to be released. The student did not understand what I was speaking off so I explained that this is not the same as getting kundalini to pass through the central spinal passage into the brain. In this practice, the brain is not involved. This has to do with the trunk of the body and getting kundalini to release itself into the trunk of the body in various parts through various nadis which one becomes aware of when this happens.

Kundalini is a criminal element and is on the most wanted list of wayward energies. It wants to express itself for sex climax experience and for a few other addictive pleasures; otherwise it is reluctant to express itself in the trunk of the body. The yogi should make kundalini express itself in the trunk in various areas.

Initially the student has to get kundalini go up the sushumna central passage but when that reaches a level where you can do that at each practice session, then it is high time that you cause kundalini to be expressed in the dark parts of the trunk of the subtle body.

In-trunk kundalini
