There was a real good session this morning. The process of focusing down in the psyche, down through the neck into the trunk of the body, and even into the thighs, legs, feet, forearms, arms and fingers is really a wonderful system in Hatha Yoga practice.

I maybe one of the few lucky yogis to put in print that this is better than just remaining in the head of the subtle body while meditating. Many of the siddhas who used human bodies and who did the yoga tapasya austerities did this but they left no written record of the practice and so this is unknown.

There were many yoga teachers, so called meditation experts, who did not do this, never came to the realization about the necessity of this. They did not understand what the psyche was and assumed that their meditation in head of the subtle body was everything. Some persons even assume that the head is the spiritual heart or that the spiritual heart is the head.

Only heaven knows what they mean by spiritual heart and if they actually experience such a place but only make claims and assumptions which boost their self-esteem.

The ultimate test in this inSelf Yoga is that the effects of clarifying the energy of the subtle body in the trunk of it has effects on the head of that body, while if one just works on the head it has little or no effect on the trunk.

If you manage to create light in the trunk of the subtle body, and if you can saturate the area below the neck with that energy, then the energy feeds over into the head as it advances through the neck but the reverse does not take place.

If you focus on the head alone, that area will be filled with light for a time but it will not descended into the lower trunk. In fact it will not go through the neck.

When I sat to meditate, naad was quite audible and at the end of the meditation naad was blaring. The experience during meditation was so subjective and so super subtle, that I cannot give a report on it.

I will comment that for about the last 5 years when I do asana and pranayama practice, I have experienced much movement of kundalini in the entire body.  I do not see lights nor do I hear naad often.  My experience is 95 % through feeling.

This morning was no exception. After directing the breath to the base chakra and forcefully applying the stomach lock to keep prana contained, kundalini was experienced in the entire pelvic cavity and radiated throughout the entire body, including the head.  Every cell was permeated.

At first, kundalini was densely situated in the pelvic region while also radiating throughout the body.  After about 15 seconds, kundalini was evenly distributed throughout the body and head and had lost the concentration in the pelvic region. There was shift to having a very slight concentration at the navel region with kundalini also evenly distributed in the whole body and head.

Then I did another short session of pranayama and application of locks. This time, kundalini slipped into the body through the soles of the feet, especially on the right side, and slithered up into the trunk of the body like the movement of a snake.  There was a slight warm feeling as this happened.  Kundalini also coursed into the hands and up through the arms but since the sensation was stronger in the feet and legs, I cannot describe the movement in the arms.

I have many times felt prana or kundalini jump in and out of the subtle body.  It happens in a split second.

Today, I felt this snakelike energy, enter into the feet and move up through the legs.  It wasn't in every cell throughout the body as I described in the first experience above.

This time the energy moved like a solid stream of warm water flowing through a garden hose.

The question I have is this: Does one's kundalini sometimes situate itself outside the subtle body and then re-enter from the outside?

Would experiences such as this, fall under the category of inSelf Yoga?

For inSelf read research of what is in the individual psyche or in the psyche yoga meditation.

Kundalini can appear to the meditator to be outside and to be entering from outside into the subtle body but actually that is only an appearance because of a shift in consciousness-focus.

Kundalini cannot disconnect itself from the subtle body and if it does then the subtle body will no longer be in existence.

This does happen sometimes in advanced meditative stage and then the yogi or yogini finds the self to be on the causal plane.

Always bear in mind that when there is no perception there probably is something there anyway but it is just that you have no access to it. So kundalini might appear to not be there and still it is there.

This is why location or known locations are important. Like with the buddhi organ, it can hardly be seen in the head of the subtle body but its location can be divined for sure. One cannot rely on direct perception because in our present condition supernatural perception is more or less a hit and miss type of thing.
