Hype Graph is true to everything.

Even in spiritual austerities, it is true.

I uptake new austerities with lot of enthusiasm but after prolonged results that do not meet my hyped expectation, the enthusiasm drops and again it grows back with new maturity.

Detachment has to be developed even with austerity as it can sway emotions up and down if it one too atached to the results.

One should treat austerities as a scientific experiment and see their results on the pscyhe and develop a detached view on the process and results to eliminate the bias and overestimate/ underestimate the data. This is the enlightening stage or maturing stage.
