The Bible talks about us getting new bodies in the afterlife. Bodies that are pretty durable that don't get sick, arthritis, hang nails or yeast infections. Have you encountered any of these manifestations or do they all try to resemble their earthly versions?

One thing is to realize that each religion has some sort of heaven which tallies as a natural outcome of the cultural basis of that religion. Take for example the religion of the Vikings warriors. That gave an award of entering a heaven in which the warriors would have eternal bodies with facial appearance just like the ones used on earth, but which had no disease or discomfort and which was capable of eating hearty feasts on a daily basis.

Putting aside this general pattern of the religions, we may consider present evidence in the form of dream states and particularly the lucid dreams and the conscious astral projections.

What forms do we use in astral projection? What perceptive senses are operating during lucid dreams?
