It seems that I will be doing one more Sanskrit translation which will be the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. This is a classic of yoga which stresses Hatha Yoga as it was introduced by Mahasiddha Gorakshnath. The book was authored by Svatmarama.

Swami Vishnudevananda did translate this and gave many details but there are some instructions which are not given. There is another authoritative translation done on behalf of Swami Satyananda Maharaj, authorized by a female Swami, Muktibodhananda.

Currently I am looking at these translations and commentaries but Sri Lahiri Mahasaya gave me some information this morning which really I cannot even verbalize because it was compressed information which I did not integrate into the intellect as yet.

It will all come out when I sit down to write that book.

There is a list of siddhas at the beginning of that book. Much of the information deposited by Lahiri Baba pertains to the history of these and to the energy these emanated. I reached a stage in my practice where I can tap into their history and share the energy with aspiring students.

Hopefully within this year, I can get that book published.

The hallmark of this progress is the pranayama technique for causing the cells to take in oxygen which is freely moving in the blood stream instead of waiting for the corpuscles to reach the lungs to exchange the waste energy for fresh energy.

I am not sure that I can describe how that is done or what its value is at this time. It is a bit abstract. Later I may verbalize this more clearly.
