Hariharananda Reverse Kundalini Kriya

See the diagram from Swami Hariharananda. This is a kriya which is special for a particular student but others might find it useful in their practice, now and in the future.
This is a reverse kundalini attack because kundalini is infused from the back spine area down to the base chakra and then to the sex organ chakra.
As tradition would have it kundalini is usually aroused from the base and then the energy of it climbs up sushumna nadi rapidly and slowly. It then enters the head of the subtle body and causes shifts in consciousness one way or the other.
Personally for over 40 years of practice in this body, I have never used this system of attack nor did I discover it at any stage. The only way a person usually experiences this type of attack is in sexual energy arousal, where the sex organ chakra builds up a sex energy charge, which causes the kundalini to be attracted to it, and then the kundalini arcs over to the sex organ chakra resulting in what is known as a sexual climax experience.
In this practice of the Swami, this student is supposed to infuse energy into muladhara chakra, any which way he can in various postures or in one posture using breath infusion. When the energy builds up enough and has sufficient charge, the student should send it around the pubic loop into the sex organ chakra.
It may appear that since this is exactly what nature does in a sex experience, which most people are so familiar, then it follows that this practice which uses the same nature route for sex experience, should be easy to do by a yogi.
Actually it is not. This is because in the nature experience, the sex organ chakra is aroused and has sufficient charge to attract kundalini forcibly.
In this practice, there is no such charge. Normally if there is no sex charge, there can be no orgasmic experience, no arc across by the base chakra. So this is the difficulty with this kriya.
However the mystery of it is no concern of mine. This is for this particular student. He should be able to do it, because the Swami provided it like a drug prescription for a patient.
One thing, we should know is that this passage from the base chakra to the sex organ chakra is there, because nature uses it repeatedly in sex climax experience. That is a given in this case
==============================
Special Note:
The sex chakra on the spine which is known as the 2nd chakra when counting from the base chakra upwards is not the sex organ chakra. The sex organ chakra is located in the area of the genitals and is actually a composite chakra. This sex organ chakra is like a peony flower when seen visually. It has many composite parts, the main ones being:
· Sex passion urge
· Sex energy polarized charge
· Reproduction energy package
· Disembodied soul as potential embryo

Amazing...truly amazing!
I am privy, from your esoteric writings, of your relationship with Swami Hariharananda, which predates my knowing him during this sojourn.
An anecdote: When I first met Swamiji he stated that we were lucky to meet him: Holy Hariharananda, he called himself. And what is that? Why was he holy? Was he bluffing? Who is, was, this person?
Bluffing he wasn't. He had built that power through being an Urdhvaretas.
To you, Yogi Madvacharya, I bow to your holy feet!
The kriya you described above, is a kriya given to me specifically because of a reverse proposition. This is a kriya prescribed to those wanting to be celibate, but, unable to do so in the normal, yogic, manner, must entertain a reverse course.
Why Swamiji wastes his time with me?
Is it perhaps I bowed many times to his lotus feet? Or perhaps he remembers me for being around his ejection?

MiBeloved's Response:
Once a lineage guru initiates a person, the guru is under an obligation to spiritually care for that person and to bring that person to a certain level of advancement.
Failure to complete this results in a term in hell.
My guess is that this Swami is in a fix because of his initiation of so many persons who did not realize what he pledged they would if they accept him an instructor.
If you are in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, with several concrete blocks tied to your neck, then it would do you well to try to cut yourself away from those dead weights. But if you are into magic, then you might be able to convert those concrete blocks into blocks of floating Styrofoam.
Maybe you will be the first one to be converted.

This is a very interesting topic (if you let me intrude into this conversation).
I don't understand this student-teacher relationship. When you read books by or about Vivekananda, Yogananda, Swami Rama, etc (any yoga master who came to the West in the 19th/20thcentury) you get the impression that they have been taught by very advanced spiritual teachers. Swami Rama's guru seemed to be able to read his student's mind...
It has been said in this group that some of these teachers, when they came to the west, they didn't teach the way they were taught, they were not loyal to their origins somehow. We know that many of these masters who came to the west used to teach in big crowded rooms, giving initiations in large scale.
Were they really that advanced spiritual psychics themselves?
Can an advanced master know if his student will be a good master in his own right?

Neo_Yogi's query:
Didn't they know this responsibility before hand? If they did, how come that they gave mass initiations so lightly?

MiBeloved's Response:
Obviously something was amiss even though it is not easy to determine what went wrong.
You have heard of the Titanic for sure, but why did the ship go down, when the best minds in the shipping industry built the vessel and a most experienced captain was in charge of the bridge of the ship?
Usually a person who becomes a lineage guru has planned to assume that post in some past life long ago and that person is being sent out based on energies from the past lives.
This means that he or she will inevitably miscalculate in some detail however small. There is a big ocean out there, the Atlantic, so why did the captain chart a course which caused the ship to meet the iceberg. If he had charted the course just one thousandth of a degree off, they never would have met the iceberg.
A spiritual master may plan to do certain things to the disciples and when he does take the body to do it, then their acquired cultural resistance which he did not and could not figure when he originally made the plan, may be too much for him to handle and so his idea for reforming these entities will meet with definite failure.
It does happen.
Gurus, even the best of them, do make miscalculations because of the onward sweep of inexorable infallible Time. Ultimately Time is supreme. It can mess up the best plans of mice and men.

I'm starting to understand that we mundane beings tend to idolize spiritual masters as if they were super-infallible-beings. They are spiritually more advanced than us, they have supernatural abilities, but this does not mean that they are infallible, since they are also under gods' or providence control, right?
MiBeloved 5 years ago
Everyone is under the control of providence which might thwart the best of our efforts and good intentions.
It is said that the road to hell is paved with good intentions, because fate is really the construction company which is paving the road and it could very well mess up everything by building a superhighway on an active fault line which is activated as soon as the highway is opened and we are all streaming down at 100 miles per hour.
Fate is nobody's slave.
It is everyone's ultimate master.

Actually it is not. This is because in the nature experience, the sex organ chakra is aroused and has sufficient charge to attract kundalini forcibly.
On a separate note, and since once every blue moon it is discussed here; the cultivation of the sexual chi energy (Mantak Chia) does require full stimulation of the sex organ (male or female).
So it is accurately alluded to above. But as a different practice its mechanism is different. It is ultimately very reactive as apparently once mixed in with the sex organ chakra, kundalini can be propelled very forcibly.
