This morning session of exercise was for about 50 minutes. It seems that the system kept taking more and more air during the rapid breathing. Most of the air was going to a location below the navel and then vanishing into thin air, or so it seemed.
Arthur Beverford who was my first formal teacher of asana postures, came there in his subtle body while I was practicing. He was interested in seeing the effects of the breath infusion on my subtle body. During his last body he did asana postures and some pranayama methods but not the bhastrika rapid breathing.
He said that he would begin to do the bhastrika on a regular basis and would substitute it for smoking. He used to smoke tobacco. His main discipline in his last body was Japanese martial arts but he did have a daily meditation practice which begins with a third eye focusing technique.
When I sat to meditate, just after the infusion session, there was fresh energy all over the psyche, but particularly there was a flow of energy coming up from the spine into the head. It came up like a shaft of light but the light was solid, as if it were a shaft made of glass.
This lasted for about 5 minutes. After this I went down to the base chakra, since that is the instruction I have from a Buddha deity in South Korea. When I got to the base, I noticed shafts of energy positioned across diagonally at the base. Some were crystal clear, some had slight tints of yellow or orange. These were like thick sheets of glass passing through each other.
This experience is similar to an experience I had in 1973. While my physical body as in Denver Colorado, my subtle body separated out of it and transited in a moment to the sun planet. There I saw buildings, streets, people, vegetation, everything in a civilization which was like something out of fantasy movie. Everything there was made of light energy, just as everything here is made of solid, liquid and gaseous matter.
There were trees there bearing fruits which were made of light energy. These fruits were being eaten by the denizens of that place.
Since the bodies used there were made out of the same materials, those materials were like solid stuffs to the inhabitants.
After being at the base chakra for a time, I came up into the head and when I passed the right ear area, I heard naad which was streaming in loud and clear with definition. There are times when naad is barely heard or it is so distant like something which is light-years away. But on this occasion it was loud and pronounced.
After hearing naad and moving to the frontal part of the brain, I noticed that the third eye (brow chakra) was open. It was peering over a lady’s shoulder while the woman was looking out of a window.
An intuition flashed about this place as being an embassy building in Italy.
Third eye can open and one might not know it. If one is not focused through it, one may not know it is opened or inoperative.

Dean's question:
If you get pulled into the naad stream, does it lead you to a particular location?

Naad sound can lead to the chit akasha, which is the sky of consciousness, or which is the spiritual universe. The idea is that this creation is a shadow of that sky of consciousness. Somehow this shadow came about in the process of cosmic time, and somehow we found ourselves conscious in this, now after many billions of years of the development of the shadow universe.
Usually however listening to naad does not cause the individual yogi, to be pulled out of this shadow system into the real universe.
