Floating Astral forms

After meditation this morning, I found myself in an astral dimension in which the human bodies there float on water, the way birds like ducks float without any effort on their part. There are many of these astral dimensions and each has its own facilities which are contrary to what we experience in this material world.

One other queer feature of that astral world, was that if a material did not want you to be near it you could not approach it. In other words even the inanimate gross objects there has will power and desire and were able to express themselves by an attracting or repelling force.

I noticed this when the astral form floated near a shore line where there was a pier. I tried to go in on the peer but the peer refused to accept me and so, when I expressed that desire I was repelled from the peer from a will power force within the peer itself.

Have you ever thought it would be cool if everything had the same degree of consciousness, how harmonious everything would be? Well if you have then think it over again and try to go to an astral place where that is taking place and tell me if you enjoy yourself there. What the human mind constructs as harmony is not necessarily in line with reality.

While I was in that astral world, my body was in a lotus yoga posture. After a time I was near a stream of water. A lady I knew while I was in South America some years ago, came there. She was in a small boat-like contraption, moving on the water. When I greeted her, I realized that she did not recognize me. She was in that parallel world but without her memories from her earthly existence, and as such she was in total ignorance of any past life or past existence, just as we have found ourselves in these bodies as the son or daughter of our parents but with no memory of any past life.

Transiting to the astral world is tricky, since usually one loses memory. Some meditators feel that loss of memory and loss of prejudices is good since it frees a person from negative biases, but it also frees a person from positive and useful biases as well and it leaves a person with innocence as a thin coating over massive ignorance.

One does not automatically continue with only good biases, because the subconscious chamber in which the biases are stored has both the good and bad biases in a compacted form, and if one loses that, one loses both aspects, the desirable and undesirable ones. Such a condition would be like that of a child who has no understanding of good or bad, right or wrong and who would eat stool if it was placed before him or eat ice-cream as well, who would desire what is harmful to him and also desire what is harmless without knowing what is what due to a lack of discrimination. Innocence is a nice way of explaining away massive ignorance.

In kriya yoga, the subconscious chamber of memories and instincts is checked and rated by the yogi for the elimination of undesirable traits and the support of and reinforcement of the desirable ones. This is taught as the first and second stages of yama and niyama but both stages continue through all the advanced aspects of yoga, where the yogi maintains proper social behavior within the psyche itself and disciplines various parts of the psyche in their interactions with each other.

Take care not to lose your discrimination and objectivity in the astral world, unless you are dead sure that is what you want for yourself.
