Faith Missing / No Confidence in Practice

Many persons who take up a spiritual discipline may lose confidence in the practice because of not getting sensational and very obvious results over time or even immediately.
Some expect immediate results. They quit early on and save themselves a long course of frustration. Others feel that they might stay on with a practice for a time to give the practice some time to either prove itself or be dumped as being ineffective.
People who pursue spiritual life for the sake of getting into a voidal state or a oneness with undifferentiated energy, are perhaps the most successful because their aspirations do not include supernatural perception of other-world realities. Since they are not looking for any sensual results, since in fact they have decided to abandon every possible sensual form, they find fulfillment in spiritual disciplines which result in nothingness, either in a flat type of boring consciousness or one in which there is happiness feelings in one way or the other.
This morning after breath infusion, during a meditation session, I again took a look at one of the causes of lack of faith, even for those who do breath infusion. This has to do with too subtle experiences which one has but which one cannot realize even though they take place.
This is similar to astral projection which I claim takes pace whenever the physical body sleeps but which people are usually not conscious of. If something happens in fact but you are not aware of it, then for you it is just like it did not happen. That is one handicap.
Because we are accustomed to gross phenomena we feel we should have very vulgar experiences to be fulfilled. That is the just the way it is.
====================
Let us look at this in another more obvious perspective. Say for instance that I get turned on by looking at a woman’s ankle as she uses a long skirt, then what is the need for her to use a mini-skirt?
Suppose just by looking at a woman’s face, I experienced a sexual climax then what is the need to penetrate the woman sexually to reach a climax.
Thus to what degree should I go before I get fulfillment? On which level should I stop?
If a teaspoon of sugar per day is sufficient for my body, then why do I need to drink a beverage which contains 8 ounces of sugar crystals?
Where does sensual satisfaction stop for me?
I knew this woman years ago who was like a mother to me. She was about my mother’s age and had served me for about one year as a mother would have. She was deceased for some time and then years after that I met her in the astral world.
As soon as we met like that, we embraced but I found that her energy was no longer like that of a mother. It was like that of a lover. I was curious to research the change. I said to her,
“How have you been? When did you leave your body? How is your astral existence compared to physical life? What happened to your children? Why did you not take a body through one of them?”
She smiled and said something like this:
O my children, O yes, do not mention them. I am not attracted to them for another body. I am seeing many people who are deceased. I also visit persons who are still alive over on the other side. How have you been?
Then I said to her,
“Since you departed from the physical side, what has become your main obsession?”
Then she smiled and said this,
“Boy, what can I say, it is sex. I never would have known this but as soon as I lost my body, I found that I was craving sex continuously. I do not know what it is but that is how it is now. I cannot explain what happened. My subtle body is like when I was at the height of sexual maturity. I constantly want sexual exchange. That is the major craving now.”
====================
This is interesting because it means that this person’s subtle form wants physical sex. She did not explain that but that is what she really meant. It was not just sex but physical sex which her body craved. So where does this end? On which level will one get the fulfillments and to what extent would it be required. How much sexual expression? For how long?
====================
During the meditation session the third eye opened but it opened as if it was a glass pane which was tinted in such a dark shade that one could barely make out what was on the other side of it. Is this sufficient?
Would a novice even perceive this as an opened third eye?
Could a beginner use this to increase faith in the practice?
Would this serve to diminish the interest of a novice?

Michael, this scares me so much. This is one of my fears: That after leaving the physical body, I will crave sex and thereby have to take a physical body again very quickly to satisfy the craving. This is terrifying because being stuck in a physical body for decades is a terrible price to pay just for a few minutes of sexual pleasure here or there.
As far as "faith missing/no confidence in practice" - Yes, I relate to that, too. In the past, I tried very hard but all I got was used by teachers who knew nothing. It's very hard to keep trying
MiBeloved's Response:
step number 1.
Begin to transfer centralized interest energy to the subtle plane, where whatever happens on that level is satisfying and terminal.
The problem is terminal. So what does that mean? It means that our psyches are like electric circuits which need a ground wire, which will return all energy into the earth at the final point, just as the millions of kilowatts used by us now all over the earth, actually pass through the earth and return to the giant generators. Unknown to us, the happy exploiters, the earth is bearing the brunt of this as a constant electric shock passing through its mineral and water-logged body.
How do we redesign the psyche so that it does not need to bring everything to the physical level for it to be satisfied or fulfilled?

It is not only Sex but many other forms of innate desires V carry in our subconscious mind which do not let us become a Yogi, or reach liberation.
In Indian Philosophy, detachment from all near-dear ones & from the result of all our actions as taught by Shri Krishna in Gita, is taught to progress towards Higher Knowledge of Spiritualism. Even a Yogi can slip into next birth as Animal if not alert to detachment at the time of leaving this world. Jada Bharatha was a Siddha of Highest order but had to re-incarnate as Deer as he developed attachment to an orphaned baby Deer in his Meditating place. Another Yogi took form of an insect as his eyes fell upon a ripened Guava while he was taking Maha-Samadhi & got attached to the taste of Guava.
