Jai Sri Krsna.

Reporting in.

Just had a wonderful session with MiBeloved.

It had lasted about 45 min.

Meditation:

I did not hear naad. But i did notice the outward spiral circles during meditation.

Students have to develop the ability to hear naad and also to know where in the subtle head to go to locate it. It is resident in the subtle head at all time and never stops.

Initially one has to not only hear naad but learn how to shift focus so as to get in contact with it. This develops after taking a serious interest in following the instruction of a yoga guru. Unless one takes such instructions seriously, one will never hear naad on a consistent basis.

As I said before Sri Sant Kirpal Singh, one of our old yogi fathers, used to tell us about naad long ago in his books and lectures but few of us understood anything about it and did not pay attention to what he was saying about its importance. Due to this attitude we did not latch on to naad and lost years of progress because of having a lackadaisical attitude.

In your own case, also since you were first introduced to this practice, you have not stuck to it keenly and persistently. As a result your progress was slow. The reason for this again is a lack of faith in the instructions of the yoga guru. Hopefully some of the influences which diverted you will be slackened now and you will dig up and get your practice in order.

When the body is young one has this confidence in life in the material body and one does not see death as something which is a threat. As the body gets older however one might feel that one is being targeted for death. Then in fear of that there is a chance one might take a yoga guru seriously.

A youthful body really means arrogance in the face of the Almighty. Thus it is necessary that one be cut down by the time factor in the form of causing the body to become aged and ugly. Such is this life!

Because we are trivial insignificant beings we take a youthful body to be something. That is just like when a poor man wins a lottery ticket or gets a few dollars at a church raffle. The little fellow becomes happy. The poor little shit! He thinks that now everything will be okay.

A new youthful body in the prime of sexual maturity is source of this little happiness. It is a shame!

I remember when my body was between 16 and say about 36 years of age. It was carrying some happiness in it, and it was just like that poor guy who somehow won a hundred dollars at the church raffle. He was not even a Christian. He just happened to go to the raffle because he was interested in screwing a young woman who was in the church choir. So somehow by a terrible fate, he won that lottery and he was so happy about it, the little asshole.

But such is this miserable existence.
