Converting Bliss into Divine Vision

When doing breath infusion practice, if one is lucky enough to awaken kundalini or even to go further, and to cause bliss energy to flash in the psyche irrespective of kundalini, then a new challenge arises, as to how to handle the bliss force.

When kundalini leaves the base chakra and courses through the spine in a flash and enters the brain, if the yogi is not properly trained, then there will be a white-out, a black-out or a gold-out. The gold out is preferred but even that lacks the required objectivity which the siddhas have and which a student aspires to attain.

How to handle that flash of golden energy in which one loses oneself as it were and for the want of objectivity feels as if one has entered absolute oneness in which one lost track of one’s individuality.

What is the use of a brahmananda in which one loses all objectivity and has no idea of up or down, in or out, beginning or end?

A state from which one emerges again back in the material world where one is compelled to again pick up one’s social identity, to be busy again like everyone else with this world’s duties.

There is sat, which is the state of just existing for no reason at all, and just existing without even knowing that one is existing. A pebble is in that condition. It is there and even though it is distinguished, it cannot distinguish itself from anything else.

There is chit (chid), which is the state of existing with knowing that the existence takes place. A small organism like an amoeba knows that. It is there. It is conscious of its limits because it is enclosed in a membrane which is sensitive to touch. It may not have a clear definition of itself but it has a partial idea that it is in contrast to everything else in the environment.

Chid (chit) is the knowing of existence. This knowing (vijnana) is exponentially better than just existing without knowing (ajnana).

There is ananda which is when what exists which can distinguish itself, finds all or some of the energy in its psyche to be blissful. It is not just a sensing energy but it is a blissful sensing energy which may even overwhelm the psyche (contents of the self).

What happens when the ananda bliss feature overpowers the chid knowing feature, so that the self cannot estimate the supernatural pleasure?

Then what?

Some people call it ecstasy and for them, the story comes to an end there.

What do you know about it?
