Conquest of Kundalini

Sri Lahiri Baba gave more information on the situation of pulling out the apana negative subtle energy out of the subtle body. For one thing in the physical system, there is a need for carbon dioxide and other negative gases and chemicals. Besides this certain cells in certain areas, either collectively or singly crave the gases even though these sponsor a low level of consciousness and makes the meditation a stagnant, go-no-where, session.

Is it possible to change the attitude of these cells?

The student after mastering kundalini yoga to some degree and after mastering the system of pushing in fresh air into compression down into the lower trunk of the subtle body, should eventually switch to an extraction action, where while doing the breath infusion, the carbon dioxide is extracted, called out from the system as it were.

=========================

This is reminiscent of a story from the Mahabharata, where at the end of the battle, with the main villain missing from the battlefield, Yudhishthira went searching for the missing leader who was his opponent. Yudhishthira as a Sanskrit word means one who is firm in battle. Sthira means firmly planted or established. Yudhi pertains to war.

War is madness in any case but still if you are a coward, if you are a yellow belly, then you won’t win it. The internal war is happening regardless of if you like it or not. With kundalini you have to systematically conquer it, standing firm in battle and in the end when the apana energy will run away from the battle field as the villain Duryodhana did, you should hunt it down and demand that it come out from the bottom of the body.

With most of his soldiers killed, his leading generals, almost all of them dead, Duryodhana had enough sense to run away from the battlefield. He went into a lake in the Himalayan region and was staying down under water. He did not have an air tank or anything. His body was tolerant to oxygen deprivation because he had practiced a reverse pranayama before.

Yudhishthira went to the lake. He called Duryodhana, urging the villain to surface. Duryodhana could hear everything both physically and psychically, and still he did not respond.  Why should he? A lost war is a lost war. Millions of his soldiers were dead. What was there to live for?

When the student gets kundalini licked, then its last strong hold will be where it is hidden in the apana energy. Kundalini is the expert medium of survival. It has a plan to stay low and to gradually rebuild itself and take control. It knows that the core-self is a little big mouth wimp. In time, it feels it will again take control of the psyche, and put the core-self where it ought to be which is to serve as a power supply for the operations of kundalini.

Yudhishthira kept speaking to Duryodhana because without complete conquest winning a war has no meaning. The main villain must be subdued in one way or the other. There is no way around that. Sentiment has nothing to do with it. Conquest is what it is, nasty business, yes but it is what it is. Either you win completely or you win partially which really adds up to a lost battle.

As the original king of the province of material nature and of the nature’s psychic being, Kundalini feels humiliated by the partial success gained against it by the core-self. However it intends to patiently restore its authority over the core-self.

Knowing that he was licked for sure, having no prospect of raising an army in the years to come, Duryodhana was not going to come out of the lake. He was thinking like this:

“I will suspend my physical existence for some time. My history suffered a breach. In this world that is okay because there is no guarantee how one will be treated by fate. Fate is a bastard child which favors one person today and then the opposing side tomorrow. We could have won the battle except for strikes of fate. Who is beyond fate? Nobody! Not me! Not Yudhishthira! I will not go to the surface for a fight.

But then something caught his attention, which was a fair proposition from Yudhishthira. The proposition was that Duryodhana should come to the surface, take possession of his choice weapon which was the club and fight Bhima who was his most hated cousin. Yudhishthira said that if Duryodhana would win in a fight with Bhima, then they would all submit to him. He would be the ruler of the dynasty.

This was a tempting proposition. Duryodhana felt great joy because he knew that if Yudhishthira made a pledge it was sincere. Duryodhana immediately surfaced.

A yogi should first smash kundalini using the breath infusion by compressing in pranic energy into the system, day after day, at least once per day, in a very thorough and forceful way. Then when kundalini is captured and is completely cornered where it has no way to go, where it has lost its emotion allies and justification soldiers, then the yogi has to dig kundalini out of its final hiding places in certain tissues, tendons and bones.

One has to call out the apana energy using whatever proposition it will be attracted to. It does not matter if one is telling truth or untruth. Who cares? Since when kundalini was into moral principles and systems of etiquette? Only a fool thinks that he or she can deal with kundalini in a righteous way. Kundalini has no sincere interest in righteous conduct, except to use that on occasion when it finds that to be expedient.

The peacock has that beauty but it is a vicious bird. It won’t spare a worm or a roach. Its mouth is formed into one of the sharpest most ruthless weapons there ever was.

Adolf Hitler was very endearing to German boys and girls but when he wanted to conquer Russia, he sent minor children even to face cannon fire.

That lady sat with dignity, honor and modesty but later that night she was a raging tigress when having sex with her lover.

Kundalini’s one principle is expediency which means do whatever is necessary to acquire the fulfillments any which way, anyhow. It is dignified on the show side. It is vulgar or brutal in privacy.

=========================

The student yogi must by all means conquer it and must be merciless in dealing with it. Partial conquest in this battle is just a nice way of admitting defeat. If it makes you feel better then go for it. If you are serious then take no prisoners. Destroy everybody. You will have all the time in the world to repent later if you feel guilty for what you did.

=========================

In this kriya all of the apana energy must be extracted from the subtle body, every last drop of it.
