Today’s breath infusion practice had a stub kundalini in the central trunk of the subtle body as the feature event. This stub glowed as the infusion progressed further and then there was a stub in the centre of the subtle head also glowing. The regular kundalini of sushumna nadi was completely absent.

Circular Light Overhead in Meditation

During meditation practice there was a light which was bright and which I could see overhead to the front. It was similar to those one foot diameter circular fluorescent lights. It was overhead and without looking up I could see it. This means I was using an omni-ocular vision. The omni-ocular vision is done by the sense of identity (ahamkara) which surrounds the core-self spherically. It may also be experienced using the buddhi intellect organ. The core-self by itself without accessories is also capable of providing that kind of vision. This light was not the lalata flickering chakra.

Position-wise this light was in the large head space which was like a vacant chamber. This light lit up the whole space.

I have never seen a description of this light in any yoga book.

So here is an example of a unique experience but that does not mean that some other yogi did not experience this. It is factual however that I never read of such a description but we should assume that other yogis experienced this at a certain stage of inSelf yoga practice.
