Chit Akasha Contact / Preliminary

Lahiri Mahasaya gave me a concluding kriya for yogis who fail to reach the chit akasha, who are unable to make contact with the cosmic kundalini life force, cosmic buddhi analytical psychic orb, or cosmic ahamkara sense of identity.

Failure to make this connect outright is a sure sign of failure of whatever practice the yogi is using. What to do about that?

First of all we have to ask the question as to whether the yogi makes even momentary contact with the chit akash. Does he on occasion make some slight contact? If the answer is yes, then this kriya can be used successfully to tie the yogi over until he can get the opportunity to make a full reach, a relocate into the chit akasha.

What is slight contact?

How does the student know if that is happening?

What is the difference between actual contact and imagined contact which is just no contact at all but which might allow the yogi to be confident in his ineffective practice anyway?

=====================

Slight contact is when during meditation, the yogi has a momentary glimpse through the third eye, where suddenly there is a space like an open window between the eye brows. This can also happen with the movement of a pad of energy going away from the core-self outwards through the eyebrows or coming towards the core-self from the eyebrows and then disappearing. This pad of energy could be dark brown, grey, dark blue, purple or even of bright colors like bright iridescent yellow or green. There might be a doughnut shaped disc of a bright or dark color in the center of the eyebrows, or falling down to the right or left of center. There might be the appearance of a tiny tiny star which comes suddenly and then disappears just as suddenly, or which stays for a few moments and then just shifts off further and fades away.

There might be sudden penetration of a bright bright white light which penetrates the mental darkness which surrounds the self in the head. This will flash into the core-self at a particular angle. Then the darkness will again surround the core-self completely. It will seem that the source of the flash of light vanished.

In some experiences the self will find itself outside of the mental energy darkness which usually surrounds it. Then it will perceive without eyes, as if it has an omnivision which sees in whatever direction it feels to look. In the distance like a galaxy away, there will be a blinding light which flashes on the self through the medium of space. This might last for 3 seconds or 6 seconds for the most, and then the self will find itself again surrounded by mental energy darkness.

These experiences are sure indications of reaching the chit akasha. There are others, like when for instance in the head of the subtle body, the student sees distinct or vague forms of persons in this or in other dimensions.

The procedure is:

·       Do breath infusion and draw all carbon dioxide out of the physical body.

·       Make sure that the system is highly energized and that the energy has moved into the subtle head from in the trunk of the subtle body.

·       Sit to meditate.

·       Locate the core self in the back of the head down in the neck and listen to the naad sound there.

·       Once established in naad, sense that outside the mental darkness there is a sky of clear energy which does not have the mental fog which surrounds the core self.

·       Draw in that clear energy. It will penetrate through slots in the dark energy, like sunlight passing through a lattice work. Let it hit the core-self. There will be a relief feeling when this happens, as if the self is getting a spiritual upgrade charge.

=====================

This is the energy of the chit akash.

According to the level of chit akasha one reaches one will either make contact with the cosmic kundalini, cosmic buddhi, cosmic ahamkara or even the Mahapurusha God Entity, the Cosmic Self.

Marcia Beloved’s query:

If a student is trying to practice as instructed, without looking for immediate results from the practice, should one still go ahead and follow the procedure outlined above?

How would one do that, and maintain integrity in being free from expectation of results while practicing?

MiBeloved's Response:

It is a valid non-imaginative procedure if one meets the qualifications for slight contact listed as:

Once you are having these experiences, then your contact with the chit akash is happening at least sporadically and is not imaginative. There is no expectation here. You experience that slight contact and then in the dark energy which surrounds the core self, you draw energy in and through the dark energy to the core-self. Outside of the dark energy there is the chit akasha and the slight contact with it verifies that and takes it off the level of imagination or illusory mental construction. Thus you reach for that energy through the dark energy.

If this is not clear, please rephrase the question.

It is clear.  Thank you.
