I was making sure that a kriya given to me by Sri Lahiri Baba, and originally hinted at by Srila Yogeshwarananda, actually works while using a current human body. This is the lattice-work broken-contact with the chit akash sky of consciousness or with the sattva guna level of material nature from which the cosmic kundalini, cosmic buddhi, cosmic sense of identity originally existed.
This is a partial contact with these higher planes of existence, but though partial, it is a necessary contact nevertheless. The student yogi cannot expect that he or she will move from no contact to full contact. There will be an intermediate level where only partial contact can be maintained from this side of existence. During the practice of that, there will be sporadic and sudden full contacts for momentary periods of time. That actually happened this morning, where while I made the lattice broken contact, there was for about 5 or 6 seconds definite full contact which was initiated by the cosmic buddhi or so it seemed.
What was that like?
You are sitting in meditation, in the dense mental space. There is you and the naad sound which sticks to you as if it were glued on. You are pulling in and making contact with the clear energy which is outside of the dense mental cloud of energy which surrounds you. Then suddenly you perceive a ray of light which comes from afar, from outer space but it comes to you and strikes you like a bolt of lightning, except that it comes in horizontally, level with your throat.
It is the pool or reservoir of cosmic buddhi intellect orb energies. It strikes your buddhi orb and zaps it.
This lasts for only about 6 seconds but it was definite anyway, just as lightning which last for even 3 seconds is clearly seen and noticed, and is objective even though the perception of it is fleeting, momentary.
How to make this happen for half hour?
Have you ever heard of a single lightning strike which lasted for say even 5 minutes?
