Changing the subtle body

Breath infusion practice this morning was productive, more improvement on the kriyas which I am currently working on. I got the opportunity to note how changes are being made in the subtle body to move it into being a yoga siddha form. It is hardly likely that one can attain such a form after the body dies, unless one achieve it in the subtle body before the death of the physical system or at least if one managed to change that body in that direction before the physical form dies.

This is a chance that if one has a momentum of a change in the subtle body, it will continue after the physical body is lost and the subtle body will not be interested in procuring a physical form and will be attracted to a level of existence where other yogis are practicing. But it is hardly likely because what usually happens is that once a gross body is lost, the subtle body immediately seeks to re-enter to participate in the earth’s history. Even in the case of people who declare that they are liberated and that they are merged into the absolute, they too have subtle bodies which are earth bound and just as when they are living they have to evacuate that body, acquire prestige for it and do other things to it, so after leaving the gross body they have to deal with the issues and habits of the subtle form.

The idea that these people are merged into the Absolute or whatever, is mostly just false advertising. They do this when they are living in a physical body and it attracts naive followers who do not understand what will happen after death and who themselves are hopeful that they will merge into the Absolute etc.

If the subtle body is not dissolved out of existence now that I am using this physical form then it is not going to be dissolved merely because the physical system is no longer available. Death of the physical body does not change anything in the psychological make-up of my person. Simply closing my eyes to meditate and then feeling nothingness or feeling as if I merged does nothing to remove either the physical or subtle bodies or the responsibilities which are tagged to these in their respective levels of existence.

During this breath infusion session there was burst of the infused energy in the chest and neck. This was like a sparklets or a fireworks explosive which causes little tiny sparks to go in all directions, glowing.

There was a down-spiked kundalini which is the reverse of the normal kundalini. In a down-kundalini the kundalini has its base in the neck and it fires downwards into the trunk of the subtle body with some spike energy darts. This is contrasted to up-kundalini where one feels spikes emanating from the spine and darting through the body upwards.

At one point a small charge of infused energy glowed in the pubic area and then it fired downwards through that area.

One event was when there was a firing of kundalini into the armpit, arms and forearms. This was a worm-shaped energy which was coiled like the small spring inside a ball-point pen. When it fired the spring energy which was white hot in color, stretched like when a child takes out a ball-point spring and pulls it so that it no longer retracts into a coil.

The infused energy also burst into the nose. This happened while I did the breath infusion in lotus posture and then began to wiggle the lower part of the body back and forth. This wiggling serves the purpose to cause the infused energy to travel through many tiny nadis which were blocked.

Why do these practices (kriya)?

To change the nature and energy content of the subtle body.
