This is a kriya message which was left behind in my psyche by Sri Lahiri Mahasaya. Yesterday Bill Lovett described how he hears messages in his head when meditating. Another method is to have message-energies left in your psyche by someone. These remain like mail packages which are left in a residential mail box by the mailman.
One does not see the mailman necessarily but one will perceive the package. Because the package has content when one opens it one will see the contents or become aware of the contents in the form of a thinking pattern. There might be an address of the sender on the package, and in this case there is an energy which identifies the yoga guru who left the information of a particular kriya.
Many kriyas which I practiced were given to me in this way. This particular message was a description of the brahmananda / sex exchange kriya which has to be mastered before one can go to siddhaloka. It concerns changing the design of the subtle body so that the sex pool energy reservoir is eliminated and it is replaced by an opposite feature which is the brahmarandra reserve of energy.
This is an antigravity system which is unnatural for the human beings, because as the body is presently constructed, both the physical and subtle body, gravity pulls down the hormonal energy which is in the body and pools it in the central lower front area of the trunk. This is the pubic area. For the purposes of material nature and the reproductive needs of nature, this is a very convenient operation since whatever enters the mouth and the nose drops down into the lowest area of the central trunk, where the genitals are located.
Nature uses the gravity system to sponsor reproduction and sex pleasure needs.
This kriya by Lahiri Baba can be used by persons who mastered kundalini to a greater degree, so that the hormonal energy no longer pools up in the sex organs but is pulled up to the top of head.
The sex energy which pools there, when mixed with the infused breath energy is evaporated and lifts to the brahma randra chakra by the yogi. Over time of repeatedly doing this in the practice, there develops a natural anti-gravity system which causes the hormonal energy to go to the top of the head instead of going to its natural pooling place which is the sex organs.
A question may be asked as to why a yogi would want to redesign the subtle body and do something that is anti-gravity and is unnatural. Recently I was challenged by a Taoist practitioner about this. The person felt that we should stick with the natural system and not try to rock the boat of nature or become inharmonious with nature.
The answer is that even though something is natural for this physical world, it may not be natural to another higher level of existence. If a yogi wants to migrate to that higher level, he or she will have to change the psyche so that it becomes harmonious with that other place.
This is not celibacy even though its effects may appear to result in celibacy. This is using the energy which normally pools in the genitals for another purpose. This is not a focus on not having sex and leaving the matter there. This is a dynamic process of using the energy which nature usually reserves for sex in another area of the subtle body, in the brahmarandra crown chakra.

Talking about Yogiraj Shyama Charan Lahiri Mahasaya, and perhaps in alignment with your statement that we contact, or are contacted, knowingly or unknowingly, by Siddhas and/or Yoga Gurus while doing the early morning practice. Well, this morning, starting around 4 AM, I had this pressing premonition of a message by Lahiri Baba. It went like this:
"That his Kriya Yoga Paravastha State, which he advised to all his disciples be maintained after the meditation, and that Swami Hariharananda also constantly stressed be kept with attention in the fontanel (brahmarandra) is none other than the 5-stage Patanjali's Pratyahara state which is constantly stressed by Acharya Beloved, as it conduces to a thoughtless state. That this state is also conducive to hearing Naad while engaged in daily life".
Now, this message kept on repeating in my head for about 1/2 hour after meditation. During this meditation of about 40 minutes this Paravastha state was experienced on and off today.

This kriya is confidential of course but only in the sense that unless one can really be in confidence within the psyche, one cannot do it.
This kriya is done by looking down in the subtle body to the sexual energy which is stocked in the lower part of it in the middle bottom of the subtle trunk. Then by some means one should cause that energy to change from a subtle liquid into a subtle gaseous state.
Once you do that then you can mentally lift it from that area through the center of the trunk of the subtle body, and then through the neck into area which is the crown chakra of the form.
These actions might prove to be a failure if one is unable to change the sexual polarity charge of the energy. If it retains that charge as it is lifted, then when it is taken to the brahmarandra chakra, if the yogi or yogini is able to do that, it will fall back through the head, through the neck and through the trunk and settle again in the central sexual area.
An example that may clarify this is water. As a liquid substance it won’t stay high as a cloud. It will fall immediately. If it is vaporized in some way, it may be lifted but depending on the humidity (charge force in it), it may rise and then quickly convert into water vapor and fall back to the earth without remaining in the sky.
To be sure that it does not fall back, I use breath infusion methods to vaporize it and to cause it to lose its sexual charge. It retains the bliss (pleasure aspect) but without the sexual charge, so its experience is bliss but not as with the flavor of sexual charge.

Isn't this a little like telling someone who just bought one of the first cars, that there is this engine, that 'by some means' converts a liquid into a gas and off you go, without telling them how to access that liquid and what to do with it exactly?
I get what you're pointing to Michael, but wouldn't you say that this requires a cultivation of imagination around these distinctions? Like how do you know when your liquid is turning into gas?
Or, is that getting too personal? If so, sorry.

It is not easy to describe. Something happens for sure but it is abstract, in the subtle body. Sex experiences on the subtle side alone, is a bit different to sex experience on the physical side. It is also to some extent different to sex experience where one is aware of both sides simultaneously.
If someone is familiar with sex experience on just the subtle side, then that person can begin this practice. To put it in plain terms, let us hash over sex experience on the subtle side, where there is no indication of it on the physical side. Like say in a dream where a person has a sex pleasure experience to the fullest and then when that person again becomes a material body, when that person wakes up on the physical side, that person notices that the material body has no indication of the experience. There is no arousal in that body, no sign of sex fluid emission, no feeling of a sexual nature.
That experience if remembered is on the subtle side. In that sort of dream there are liquids and also solids but it is astral stuff. From the material view point it is all subtle, but from the astral level there is differentiation and weight value.
Astral liquid is involved in the usual astral sex experience. This same liquid may be evaporated or its quality can change so that a pleasure experience yields enlightenment specifically, or sexual sharing genital experience specifically, or sexual sharing non-genital experience specifically.
If you are working from the physical side and targeting the subtle body because it is linked to the physical, then you might use breath or mantra (sound) or psychoactive drugs or………

Yoga Sutras Chapter 4 Verse 1
जन्मौषधिमन्त्रतपःसमाधिजाः सिद्धयः॥१॥
janma auṣadhi mantra tapaḥ samādhijāḥ siddhayaḥ
janma – birth, particular species; auṣadhi – drugs; mantra – special sound; tapaḥ – physical bodily austerities in Haṭha Yoga; samādhi – continuous effortless linkage of the attention to a higher concentration force, object or person; jāḥ – what is produced from; siddhayaḥ – mystic skills.
The mystic skills are produced by taking birth in particular species, by taking drugs, by reciting special sounds, by physical bodily austerities or by the continuous effortless linkage of the attention to a higher concentration force, object or person.
