Brahmarandra Kriya

In meditation this morning I returned to the kriya which concerns the core-self floating up into the brahmarandra bulb which is on the inside top of the subtle head.
First the student must secure the core-self in naad sound. The breath infusion practice should be done just before this and there should be effects so that there is no chatter in the mind.
Once the student stops the infusion and sits to meditate, there should be an automatic adhering to naad sound. If this is not so then one should not do this practice but should instead become resolved to adhere to naad by doing more naad practice.
Whatever an advanced student does is okay for him (her) and that is not okay for the novice except in the future. A student should take note of what the advanced yogi does so that in the future the student can apply that process but in the immediate sense what the advance person does has value only as a notation.
Suppose I am dead tomorrow, as people would normally say, which really means that I become cut off from the social history of the earth, then how will a novice reach me for instructions?
That will be possible only for those students who have a keen mystic perception. All others will have to rely on something I wrote down about the advanced practice. I am not the only yogi who practice advanced kriya, but it may be that I am one of the few who take the time to jot down what the practice is about.
In anticipation of the need for advanced kriyas, I took the precaution to jot down my practice sessions and give details. Someone said that I should not do this because it breaks with the traditional way. And because I don’t give a damn about that opinion, I am writing down what I am doing for the benefit of anyone who might need the process.
I won’t be here after I am dead. Certainly not, history does not permit that.
All the same wherever I would be I do not want to have any afterthoughts about what I did not do to leave notations behind. No one should think,
“O he was a yogi. We heard of him. Who knows where he is? It could be hell, concerning all the bad things he did. It could be heaven, considering that he did do a little good and maybe God will wait to punish him. A dangerous criminal on death row, may on occasion be given some sugar pie and ice-cream, the poor fellow. Maybe he became nothing or merged into the universal energy as nothing. We had the feeling that he was a fake devotee, an atheist of the first order. Who knows where he is located now? But anyway, he was a decent chap because he left this information for us. God bless his soul.”
In this way at least in death, I could derive some good energy, some good will from others. That would give me an ease wherever I may be.

In the meditation, what happens is that at first, there should be this adherence to naad sound. This should happen without effort. You sit to meditate and you find that as soon as you are there, you are in naad, being kept there by some force, not by your will power, not by any psychological action of your own. The core-self is just there in naad spontaneously.
Then you make sure that everything is in order.
What does that mean?
It is your wedding day, idiot. You have a new everything. Your friends are checking to be sure everything is in order. This is your big day, you dumb dumb. Get your act together. Act as your very best. Don’t mess this up, the way you always do with every other occasion.
What is the matter with you, even on your wedding day you cannot get yourself in order?
Straighten up!
This is it.
This is final.
This will never happen again.
Do you see how many guests attended?
We are proud friends. This will look awful if you conk out on us. Tighten up. This is not the zoo.
Have some pride!
Look nice!
Abandon that baboon mentality just for this one time.

You are there in naad, you look around and you realize, “Hey, I made it. It is just like he said, just me and naad. This is working. No thoughts, the nuisance mind stopped. This is it. I am a yogi, big time.”
Once there in naad the core-self should attempt to move into the top of the head. This means either a jump action or a gradual shift to that location. Once there, the core-self should stay put.
At first it is just the location which is of interest, like when you move from one place to another, from one building to another. Then once you are there, you check to see if you can stay there. Is the core-self feeling that it has to go somewhere else?
If it does, then should you hold on there and resist that feeling?
Or should you return to the back of the head in naad?
To settle this one has to speak to the yoga guru or just make a decision on one’s own and execute it.
Once you can stay at the top of the head with the naad sound in tow, then the next stage is to be fully there. What does this mean?
It means to adhere there just as you did in the naad practice before, where you were in naad sound and there was nothing else besides that. See this diagram:
