Attaining a Yoga Siddha Form

During the afternoon session I worked on the energy flush-way which is at the bottom of the trunk of the subtle body. This is the equivalent of the anal pouch which is usually called the rectum. In the subtle body however there is no long winding alimentary track or upper intestines. The subtle body is not concerned with digesting solid matter but with using energy which is made from light (like in sunlight). Usually the Sanskrit term for this energy is prana (praa-nuh).

This flush-way should be of a light color. It should not be dark in the subtle body. By breath infusion one can clear up this flush way so that it promptly expels energy which was used by the subtle body and which should be expelled from it.

Again this type of expulsion is not like evacuating solid matter or feces from the physical body.

I also worked on two corresponding areas in the upper back. These are like two plates of energy. Usually this energy is dark but a yogi can infuse it with breath and then if the infusion is sufficient, this area will change from a dark cloud of heavy subtle energy to a whitish very light energy.

In this way, a yogi can do his work in attaining a yoga siddha form. There is no point in getting too crazy about maintain the physical body because no matter what one does, one will still lose it within at least 120 years of its life. The subtle body lasts for the duration of the galaxy and thus it is worth the effort to keep it in tip-top shape.

If one’s subtle body is not automatically kept in a high vibration all by itself without endeavor, then it becomes necessary to strive with pranaiama practice to push the subtle body up to higher planes. This all depends on the student’s desire.

One stumbling block is the lack of experience of higher subtle dimensions. Many spiritual seekers do not get experiences of these zones and thus they feel that these are a myth or something imagined by some mystics. Thus it is reasonable for such seekers not to endeavor in this way.

A yogi will notice that with an increase in breath infusion, the physical body appears to be healthier. For instance when breath infusion is done with focus on the rectum, a yogi might notice that there is more prompt evacuation. Seeing this, a yogi who is not properly grounded in transcendence might get the idea that yoga is for improving the health of the physical body. This will result in more focus on the physical form resulting in a materialistic yogi who has a misunderstanding about yoga, which he teaches to others.

Even though one may notice that there are physical health benefits to yoga, one should not be distracted by this but should keep the focus on the enduring subtle body and just not be concerned with the short-lived physical system, which will come down with a terminal illness no matter how healthy it may be.
