This is a rough mapping of major philosophies & contributions to the vast Tradition & Subject of Yoga.

There are several more greats who have contributed to the canvas of Yoga which I have not included here due to limitation of space by trying to squeeze everything in one slide or page.

This is from my personal experience, not any universal standard. It is only a rough estimate and scale to see how big and wide the map of yoga is and how they have contributed uniquely from each end of the scale to the subject and enriched in their own way the grand technical subject of yoga across thousands of years till today.
