Had a lucid dream experience a couple nights ago where I was outside and I became aware that I was dreaming. Instead of trying to fly or travel, I felt a need to look up at the sky to see what world I was in...earth or another realm.

The sky was blue so I assumed it was earth and then I started to see strange cloud formations pass over in the sky at rapid speeds...it's hard to describe what the clouds were but they weren't clouds of water...it was like big clouds of dryer lint or some other dirty substance.  Perhaps it was a symbolization of our air pollution.

Then I also realized that I could look directly at the sun without worrying about burning out my eyes and as soon as I did this I could peer through the brilliance of the sun in the sky and see the direct rotation of the planet moving in a counterclockwise direction.  (It turns out that this is the actual direction of rotation physically...which I did not know at the time of the dream).  And it was rotating at a semi-fast speed.  Soon after, I transitioned back into dream sleep and lost lucid awareness.

great experience!

Try to drop the habit of always trying to correlate astral world experiences with physical reality.

The automatic mechanism which does this, should be disabled in the psyche during these experiences.

Then the proper conclusions are likely to be had.

When the automatic mechanism for rationalizing these experiences into physical reality is shut down, another mechanism will become evident, a supernatural one.

Transposing to a higher dimension really entails a chance in rationale but that won't happen if you keep invoking the old equipment.
