Every time I separate from my body I don’t see anything but I can feel my astral body and move. If I focus on my third eye I fall into a lucid dream. What should I do? Should I keep walking until I see something or there’s something specific I should do?
MiBeloved’s Response:
At least in the beginning it may be beneficial if you take the attitude of a passenger rather than try to be the driver of the situation. The astral projection is taking place nightly and most people have no idea that it is happening. In fact people’s ignorance about the nightly separation between the physical body and the subtle one, is the main cause of disbelief in reincarnation and is the main cause why most people identify themselves as a physical body only.
So even if you cannot see and can only move in the astral form, that is a big piece of progress. At least it tells you that you can exist apart from the physical body and that your self consciousness has mobility besides the mobility of the physical body.
The best thing to do now is just to observe what is happening and to be satisfied with that for the time being. As you practice more and more things will change and vision will come.
The specific thing to do is to relax more and not try to control what is happening when the astral body separates. Just relax within it with or without astral vision and just observe what it does of its own accord and what it does when it is responsive to your will power.
When you focus on the third eye, do it with gentle focus like if you are touching something with a feather. Don’t focus as if it is a laser beam.
