Munish's query:

What is the relation between the Kundalini and Astral Projection?

What is the relation between the Kundalini and Astral Projection? Should someone do Kundalini and Chakra practice with Astral Projection? Or astral projection should be stopped and person has to concentrate on Kundalini Development?

MiBeloved's Response:

Kundalini is itself the psychic apparatus which operates astral projection.

Stop astral projection?

That is not possible so long as one has a material body, astral projection will occur anytime that physical system sleeps.

Maybe you are speaking about conscious objective astral projection with stress on the word objective.

Kundalini development?

It is not clear what you mean by that.

In fact kundalini is a psychic adjunct which is in the individual psyche and which usually is not controlled by the individual. It is mostly an independent psychic survival mechanism. It independently operates sex drive, digestion and many other involuntary functions.

How will you develop it? First you have to take possession of it or control of it from nature? How will you achieve that?

LOL too many questions to answer! My question is very straight forward.. If someone is trying to raise Kundalini (Kundalini Development) and he learns the AP in between that process, which is third eye activity, should he concentrate on Crown Chakra Activity when he moves further ..which connects him to nothingness ? Stopping the AP activity means stopping the AP at will. We can’t stop automatic APs while sleeping.

MiBeloved's Response:

Astral projection is not always a third eye activity. Third eye is a chakra on the subtle body and astral projection is the displacement of the entire subtle body, third eye and everything else, to the astral planes with simultaneous de-synchronization from the physical system.

Crown chakra is not always a connection to nothingness. There can be perception, objective clear supernatural perception at the crown chakra.

Anyway if a person is trying to raise kundalini and if it does raise and passes through the neck of the subtle body, it will of its own accord go immediately to the buddhi intellect organ and then it will if it has enough pranic charge strike out at the crown chakra. Kundalini will rarely go to the third eye chakra when it comes up.

Usually if it is sufficiently charged, it will first go to the buddhi organ and then from there if it has sufficient extra pranic charge it will go to the crown chakra. Usually this does not produce an astral projection of the subtle body. In fact in this experience usually the astral body remains in the physical one but it rises in vibration while it is remains interspaced in the physical one.

The benefit of stopping AP at will is to stop many unnecessary memory links, which may create issues like giving too much time to read and analyze the incoming thoughts from third eye etc.

MiBeloved's Response:

That method of stopping unnecessary memory links is short-term and won’t be effective in the long run. Even though third eye does serve as an entry point for thoughts coming from others, it does not create thoughts which come from the subconscious. It is not involved in the thought creative mechanism in the mind itself. To master thoughts the proper thing to do is to take recourse to buddhi yoga as explained in chapter two of Bhagavad Gita*.

See buddhi yoga as buddhi + yoga, meaning as the application of yoga proficiency to controlling the buddhi intellect organ which is the psychic adjunct which is involved in thought creation, thought recognition, thought translation and thought conversation from the memory links.

The memory itself cannot do anything. It relies 100% on the buddhi intellect organ to convert the memory impressions into readable script or images to be read out by the observing self which peers in the mind.

Any thought which penetrates through the third eye or which comes into the mind chamber by any other means from someone outside of the individual’s psyche is helpless to do anything until it hits the buddhi and the buddhi converts it into something the observing self can perceive.

Therefore the curbing of the buddhi is the secret to thought control. Patanjali has given that out in his second sutra about shutting down chittavritti. Even the kundalini relies on the buddhi to calculate for it how to act and to interpret for it pleasure, happiness and bliss.

My idea is to harmonize the internal 6 chakra activity, in a balance situation, to move forward. The final desire less or nothingness condition can be reached if the internal and external things are very calm...at least for some time or few days.

MiBeloved's Response:

Let us stick to the internal things because if anything that is where we might make a dent in the situation. The external is not under our control. But so long as the internal kundalini is not completely altered, changed, fed a different kind of pranic energy, such a desire for desireless-ness and nothing ness will never be attained because the kundalini will not allow it.

Why bother with the chakras when they are just expression of the kundalini. Why not attack kundalini at muladhara where it has its hideout, and deal with it there, reform it there.

No matter what you do at the various higher chakras (higher than the base chakra) it will turn out to be a waste of time, if kundalini still has control of its base area, and if at that place it is not reformed. But if you can reform it there, then all other chakras will exhibit the higher qualities which you so much desire.
