So I have been trying to fall back asleep very early in the morning to get the more vivid dreams and it does work. It seems the little sleep between 6am and 8am is when I get the dreams that I remember when I wake up. In one of these dreams it was like I was awake in my bed looking up, it was already light and my hands were up and I was holding in my right hand an LP (interesting how music is becoming recurrent in my dreams because twice I dreamt with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith). I felt how material the feeling of holding that LP was and I was aware that my physical hand was resting on top of me while these two projected hands of mine were up and I was just marveling at the phenomena. Then I woke up. I wish I had thought of sitting up and leaving my bed with the rest of my astral body and leave the physical body resting there. I don't think it was exactly an astral projection because I lacked more lucidity and will to do things in that situation.

Nice little experience you had there. Sometimes it happens that we don't know why we feel inclined to do certain things even when lucid. This has to do with the level of lucidity and also the state of our psyche at any given time. We can increase the probability of acting out our behavior if we plan things in advance. You can try incubating the idea of what you will do when you find yourself lucid. It's possible the reverse will happen, that you find yourself doing the activity and then you become lucid.
If you have good visualization you can imagine doing something that can only be done while in the astral realms for example. This will help build intention and purpose which is really the building block of what creates the specific experiences in the astral dimensions, it brings the experiences to you. The multi-dimensional timeless nature of what our psyche really is amazes me, it can go in so many direction at any given state. We can become influenced to say and do things that go beyond our knowing. We might not understand why we have certain experience which is why creating intention and purpose is important. Doing so creates particular experiences that can then reveal themselves by the given theme set forth by our intention and purpose. Our purpose can be known or unknown it can also be conscious and unconscious.
Purpose is really just becoming aware of what we chose for ourselves in advance. Intention is carrying it out. Emotion is also an integral part; it will determine how things are re-created/perceived for our growth and understanding. We create our realities, but we can also lose creative control of it. Intention and purpose will resonate through the timeless aspects of the astral as it builds the readiness states required to unlock certain experiences and abilities. If it resonates the future may bounce back leading the way.
There is no time in the astral, only the perception of it.

MiBeloved's Response:
This is a very important experience which is where one is simultaneously aware of both bodies, the physical one and the astral one. In an astral projection one is usually aware of only the astral limbs and senses, but one can also be aware of the astral while it is interspaced in the physical or when it is interspaced partially into the physical.
This is a valid lucid dream state. These experiences can help you to understand that you will survive and that your psychological energies do have a set form and are not a vague something or a nothing or a void.
If you have not done so already, try to get the recent two books named Astral Projection and Sleep Paralysis.

Okay, accomplished astral projectors, kriya yogis, Tibetan rlung yogis as well as spiritually advanced animists are the folks that can practically see that they will survive, subsequently vanquishing the fear of death. I wonder who else fall in this category.
Jettins, I really liked your explanations. This means progress and allow me to take credit for that, since it indicates that I am now able to understand more because of doing better. Still, there is room for progress on my part. Towards the end it seems that you are talking straight from the astral dimension, important ideas and concepts are condensed and rolled into each other quiet expertly.
Just as sometimes I cannot get where Michael comes from; well he comes from the subtle/transcendental perspective. Similarly, you come from the astral perspective where the expository and ideational schemes are more intricate than in this more limited and concrete physical dimension.

Hello unlimitedsun,
I am glad to hear that you’re making progress! I am also glad when others are able to understand me. I admire the consistency of your practice and that of Alfredo’s as well.
