Astral Encounter which portends death

Last night I became aware of my subtle body in an adjacent parallel world with a school friend, who still uses a physical body and his dad, who is deceased. I have not communicated with this person in over 30 years. I knew this person when my body was about 13 years of age. His father was a school-mate of my father and we lived in Guyana.
In that astral place, we were at the house of his father, an astral place where there were astral roads and buildings. They greeted me cordially and were very happy for me to be there.
I for my part, wondered how exactly my subtle body was in that place. And even though in their minds, it was a nice astral location to be in, to me it was undesirable but I did not alert them to my view.
After greetings and their expression of happiness about my being there, my school friend asked for advice getting a device fixed. This device, he said, had carburetor problems. They described the situation to me and I told them that perhaps they could use a perforated cover.
They were glad to hear about this solution but then their faces sunk as if that was an impossibility. After that I had to get up physically and so the astral situation just vanished into thin air.
When I got back and reviewed what happened, I then surmised that my friend whose body is older than mine by a few years, must be having breathing problems in his physical form. The carburetor was just their way of asking for advice about the breathing problems one has in old age. My suggestion about the perforated cap to be put over the carburetor would be of no use because in the case of malfunctioning lungs in old age, even filtered air may not cause any improvement.
The real story about this astral encounter however is that it portends that I will have to leave my body in near future.
How long do you think a human body can last, even considering recent medical advances?

What is near future. Why? You did not explain why.

Near future means anything less than 100 years.
Suppose I say in 100 years, then people will put that into the category of ridiculous.
No human body has lasted for 100 years if it is already 60+ years.
Even if it is 5 years, it is in the near future because the earth is estimated to be 5 billion years for the most, the galaxy for 13 billion. Isn't anything less than 100, the near future?
