Last night I became aware of myself on an astral beach in the West Indies. It may have been the island of Barbados. It was cream white sand and some very small waves were coming in one after another. The water was body temperature.
As we walked along, my father said this:
“I would give anything to be with you guys.”
============
He was speaking of being with myself and my eldest sister who are resident at this time in the United States. My father was deceased for about ten years now. He left his last body in Guyana and his astral body currently lives in the astral world which is adjacent to that place.
His idea is to have material existence going on forever with him being in some advantageous position, making sufficient money to up the status quo.
First of all when one loses a body, one was shoved out of physical history, unless one can influence those who have bodies to act on one’s behalf. But even then since it is not a direct action and since one uses a proxy, it only gives partial fulfillment.
Usually one’s children cannot give one a body. Usually it is the children of one’s children, the grand or great-grand children who may provide a body. What one’s children can do is to influence their children to give one a body.

Interesting perspective.

Neo_Yogi's query:
How does this work? Buddhism says that one cannot control their next rebirth; Spiritism says that you have to wait until you are ready for a next reincarnation, whether you like it or not (some spirits are eager to reincarnate while others don't want to come back so soon and they have to be persuaded to do it). Some say that once you die, you are being born automatically somewhere else...
Buddhism and Hinduism say that you can easily reincarnate in the animal realm; Spiritism says that this could happen but in very rare occasions when a person has lived like an animal following his/her basic instincts, with no ethics whatsoever...

MiBeloved's Response:
It is a fact that one cannot absolutely control what will happen. Only the insane will say that a human being can have such total control. And yet one should do something to get a better preference if providence may in any way afford that.
Let us jump out of this to something that is happening now right before our eyes. Yesterday I heard a radio report that many persons who have college degrees are not getting suitable jobs. This is happening both in the developed and so called emerging countries.
So here it is that some of these persons even took loans to get these college degrees and now they are being told by employers that they are not needed and that their degrees are irrelevant.
So that is a case of preparing to get a certain destiny and then being denied that destiny.
So it is the same thing with life in the material world, where you might prepare for something and then you may not get it.
And still it makes sense to prepare anyway because we have the need to act and the need to act with promise, to act in a manner which just might put us on the up-curve.
Hence as a yogi I act with but with detachment because I know that providence might just ignore whatever I do and it won’t pay off.
Say for instance, there is this forum which some friends encouraged me to begin. So now we have a few members. But tomorrow who knows, if a comet will come out of nowhere and hit the planet and all this will be over, finished without a trace, and scrapped by providence.
It can happen but still we are investing our time in this even though we are under threat twenty-four hours per day.
So yes, there is no guarantee but still a living entity should act in a way which might just bring about a positive result anyway.
In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna told Arjuna that the material world is more or less a totally lost cause, and still Krishna insisted that Arjuna should act responsibly. On one hand, this is dead end, and still we are requested by God to act in a careful way.

To get details about how rebirth occurs, the book to read, is the Anu Gita.

Neo_Yogi's reply:
Yep, sometimes I also get this very same feeling about the material world and about its inhabitants.

Just speaking from personal experience, from living on earth for many years and endeavoring to be spiritual and live in a way the Krishna would prefer, I can say that I have not always gotten what I have prayed for. But often times I have been happy that my wishes did not come through.
So yes providence has it's hand in our destiny, but spirit and experience tell me it is best to prepare and plan ahead. Krishna told Arjuna to be responsible because Krishna had a plan for Arjuna that was based on Arjuna’s actions, that did not depend on the material world being doomed.

There is a plan based on one's actions, this is certain.
I've seen my possible future, that is, if I work with the astral forces correctly. It doesn't look half bad humbly speaking.

Hello Jettins,
What sort of work is that that you do 'with the astral forces', if I may ask? Feel free to not respond as I understand this might be a very personal question.

Hello Neo,
I was going to do a second read on this thread and then I noticed you asked me something 7 days ago.
I didn't mean to skip your question at all, just missed it.
I am not writing about the big picture in detail just yet. But regarding what a force may do at any given time, it will be written in each experience. What’s interesting to me is that the first time I became aware that there were forces that took me places, showed me things and that I could use them was when I was shown "a glimpse of a future non-physical existence". It was the first time I realized that there were actually intelligent forces, I had read about it, but it was the first time it present itself to me.
A glimpse doesn't mean the whole thing of course. There was a person in that experience that I didn't know existed, but then I met about a year later. The non-physical future I saw was based on the probability of my actions in physical reality and in the astral reality. At some level I needed to know ahead of time to choose if I wanted to make it real, as it is uncommon. At the same time I know I can change it, as I've been also told. The future is flexible and incomplete. It will be whatever I make it to be in the process of choosing what is best for me. I think this is why I need many objectively aware non-physical experiences.
During different experiences I think I met Michael a few times as well, when he was young and as an older man. He guided me once on what I was supposed to do during an experience. I used to call him Nelson but then the last time I asked him to verify his name he said it wasn’t Nelson it was Michael, I am not kidding. About 6 months before I knew this forum existed. I used to think he was from Dominican Republic from his look and the feel of the places, but hey all those Caribbean like places look the same. If I was to tell you all the stuff I've experienced it would sound bizarre and impossible, which is why I don't make a big deal about it. At the same time I can't know for sure who is who 100%, but the memory of it being possible doesn't leave me. So if you thought I stayed in this forum because of its pink background and its little astral experiences talk, well no.
Take care!

Neo_Yogi's reply:
That's VERY interesting!! Do you that think there's some kind of connection between you two for having met in the astral before?
I like to read this type of corroborations between the astral and the physical world because it shows that OBE's are more than mind tricks, as some detractors try to explain.

Neo_Yogi's reply:
This is one thing I don't understand about the mechanism of OBE's, its logic.

Jettins' reply:
Well depends on how you want to see it. I think we are all connected at some level. I think it has to do with my intentions. I wanted to prepare for what was to follow, I had this intention for some time. So it created experiences for me based on what would follow in the future, the astral can do this kind of thing if you look closely.

Jettins' reply:
I used to want to get validation about my experiences in the beginning. For example dreaming that I was falling from a plane, then to realize my friend was on a plane at that exact time. That I would dream I became angry then finding myself getting angry that day. Looking at piles of cloths in the out-of-body state to then realize my parents had bought their first pallet of clothing to ship overseas. A person being sick to then realize they where. Many little things like this that don't mean much but if was to account for their frequency I could tell it wasn't random.
The more I thought about it, the more I noticed that my experiences started to shift to get this validation. A few times I woke up thinking about my experiences to see if I could make silly predictions. Turns out that I could, but I didn't want to make my experiences about this so when I got my validations I stopped looking at the precognitive angle.
I am nothing special, I am just some random dude trying to find extra ordinary answers on my own.
Take care.

It seems that you are doing it well. Nice work, Jettins; please, learn as much as you can to teach others.
