Aspects of Chit Akasha Perception

The first aspect of chit akash penetration is no penetration at all. This is the stage of taking help from someone from the other side. Help must be acquired because from this side of existence, we have no way of getting hints on how to reach the chit akasha, because no experience on this side has anything to do with what is happening in the spiritual environment.

Unless someone from the other side comes over into this side and gives hints on what to do one cannot achieve this practice, even if it is written about, even written about by me. This is not because there are no reliable agents on this side. It is because the experience on this side has nothing in it which corresponds on what to do to achieve this.

I am on this side, surely, but I came from the other side with some recall on what to do and I am in touch with people on the other side who are giving me hints on how to clear up any confusions I have which I derived from just coming over to this side. In that sense what I write and what I suggest has value.

Even for me getting to the other side is like crossing a wide and very deep chasm while walking a tight rope. If I am not expert at balance, guess what will happen?

If, even I face such a daunting task, what can be said about others?

Sometimes I am advising people and they argue and going on with doubts and ideas from this side of existence and haranguing themselves about it. It is a pity that is evident!

========================

Sri Lahiri Baba said recently that one has to begin to find light by accepting the darkness which is native to one’s mind. But this must be supported by a vigorous pranayama practice.

If there is no pranayama practice then it is hardly likely that one will go to a higher plane during the meditation. This is because the subtle body will remain on its default level of consciousness. Visualization will have no power to move it from there. The person visualizing runs the risk of believing that he or she went higher while in fact there was no shift in awareness transit.

Pranayama gives the shift for sure. It is not dependent on imagination or visualization. It causes an energy shift by infusion of energy into the subtle body, a method which is an energy operation in the subtle body, something definite because of breath infusion into the subtle body.

After pranayama when you sit to meditate, abandon all perceptions and reach naad sound. That is step number one. Then in naad, try to be totally in naad sound with it surrounding you on all sides or at least with it under or behind you and with your attention placed in it, abandoning all other interest. Then wait there in naad but wait with the attitude of someone who knows that he will have to wait for at least 15 billion years.

If you have to wait that long for someone, and if you must see that person, then you will be patient. You will relax yourself, set up shop, and settle down at the place where you are supposed to meet that person.

If you do not know how long you will have to wait, you will get antsy pantsy. You will get the jitters. You will go out and check to see if the person is coming or not. You will have doubts. But if you know that it will take 15 million years for the person to reach where you are and if there is no way for you to go to that person, then you will be resigned to fate. You will wait patiently.

This resignation to the process of abstract meditation is absolutely necessary in this practice of naad yoga for reaching chit akash on a permanent basis.

Once you are there in naad with all your sensual interest shut down except for naad absorption, then you should release your visual interest into the naad zone, not into any other place, just in the recognizable naad zone.

If you can do this, at first there will be no perception, and then there will be a glow of light. The color might vary from person to person but it will just be a glow, nothing definite, nothing blaring, nothing focused, just a glow.

Stay in that glow until something happens.

you wrote awhile back:   Srila Yogeshwaranand was in the head of the subtle body. He kept saying,

“Stump it down, like an elephant stomping a vicious tiger. Do not give it a break! Be militant! Show no mercy to it!”

This was an interesting read. Many times I wonder how human interpretation and the passage of time have distorted things, but it's all we have here. Even the same information across different astral dimensions has different meanings. However unusual this sounds in the physical dimension it is mostly true. This physical dimension in general distorts even more. Some realizations will only be useful in certain states, useless at others.

When I read much of the information here it feels like I can read between the lines, not necessary always useful and I can be wrong. But I am not supposed to say it because I am no expert on this religion.

Sri Lahiri Baba said recently that one has to begin to find light by accepting the darkness which is native to one’s mind.

He should have said this a long time ago because it's true. I wonder what he experienced recently that made him say it. The light and dark are phases of our beingness.

I am pretty sure not only Yogis and Yoginis are an will be in higher planes, but OK.

You all like honestly, so enjoy it!
