Apana Removal / Strange Method

Srila Yogesh shared the inside scoop of the idea of a yoga siddha body which does not have the usual kundalini circuit of the subtle bodies which carry the mundane survival impulse in them and which always require the person to take rebirth in a physical species no matter what.

 

Of course there are times in the universal break down when there are no opportunities for physical bodies and then what?

 

What happens to a living entity who uses a subtle body which requires a physical form to fit into, when there is no species of life to enter or when the species it is adapted to is no longer manifested as in the case of many extinct lifeforms?

 

The problem with existing as a subtle body and not getting an opportunity for a gross body is the feeling of frustration. This in turn causes one to become desperate when one does get such a body and one misbehaves or acts in a vicious way to fulfill one’s desire for mundane life.

 

If one does have a subtle body which does need physical forms for fulfillment, then it pays off if one could cool down the desperation when there are no physical species available either because the universe is scrapped physically or there are no species forms due to extinction and one cannot get into manifestation.

 

But a greater accomplishment is to shoot for the yoga siddha body which has no need for a physical form corresponding for it and where all the desires which are special to physical existence are absent in such a form.

 

Srila Yogesh showed me a system of apana energy withdrawal which is so different to elementary kundalini yoga and pranayama practice that it seems like something made by the yogi.

 

In this system there is no kundalini circuit in the subtle body, no sushumna nadi. Instead when one looks down into the subtle body one sees nothing but spatial energy scattered like trillions of micro-pixels of multicolors.

 

Then when one does the bhastrika infusion breath system, those multicolors become very transparent and at a certain point, they all turn into a clear color, a see-thru translucent color.

 

In that subtle body there would be some little apana energy and the yogi pulls that energy up. It comes up like tiny little bubbles rising from the bottom of a lake. As the yogi does the infusion, these are extracted out of the subtle body, being pulled up by the infusion force.

 

There is no pushing down of the infused compressed force in order to pressure the apana energy to circle pass the groin area and hit muladhara chakra and then go up the spine into the brain.

 

This is a very advanced practice which one could do when one has mastered kundalini and removed the small-of-the-back blockage.

I have been observing for days now the myriad micro-pixels of multicolors you mentioned when I infuse the third eye with Bhastrika after holding down the ocular orbs with both hands.

 

It first goes through several gradations of light, and then into those pixels.

 

Is this from the same source in the subtle body?

The micro-pixels are always in the subtle body but it is their quality of energy and configuration of shape which is of concern. If possible the yogi has to change the quality to a higher one. If they are heavy, that is not good because that indicates that the subtle body is taking energy from a lower plane.

 

Through the breath infusion there should be a burning up of the heavier pixels and an increase in the proportion of the lighter pixels.

 

Doing the holding down of the ocular orbs is the classic and routine way of seeing these pixels. This is an ancient recommendation which is touched on in the Bhagavad Gita by Lord Krishna.

 

However sooner or later one has to abandon this method and try to see down in the body using pranavision and some other types of supernatural perception. The main one as one develops is pranavision, but one should begin by using the ocular orbs because these are specifically designed to permit mystic sight.

 

Pranavision is the big event but it is subjective perception and hence it causes doubts in a student's minds as to whether it is just imaginary perceptions.

 

Anyway here is one of the verses which indicate the ocular perception between the eyebrows. This is slightly different to using the ocular orbs which are two because third eye vision is an univision but it is related because it occurs when the two ocular orbs are abandoned and their split ray becomes one ocular blast.

 

Material nature has endowed us with split vision and so we have become addicted to that by her grace, but as a yogi one has to push on and abandon these graces of the Mother. Pranavision is different because it is not focused vision. So one has to practice it for some time and grope in the dark with it, and then it will become a solid means of perception.

 

The subtle body is also based on this split vision but the spiritual body has nothing to do with it, even though there are two eyes in the spiritual form. In the spiritual form, the two eyes have no sharp focus like the two physical eyes and this is because all parts of the spiritual body are capable of vision.

 

To get ready for transfer into a spiritual body, one has to come to the stage where one is completely dependent and trusting of pranavision.

sparśān — sensual contact; ktvā — having done; bahir = bahi — external; bāhyāś = bāhyān — excluded; cakuścaivāntare = caku — visual focus + ca — and + (eva) — indeed + antare — in between; bhruvo — of the two eyebrows; prāāpānau — both inhalation and exhalation; samau — in balance; ktvā — having made; nāsābhyantaracāriau = nāsa — nose + abhyantara — within + cāriau — moving

 

Excluding the external sensual contacts, and fixing the visual focus between the eyebrows, putting the inhalation and exhalation in balance, moving through the nose. (5.27)

 

 

यतेन्द्रियमनोबुद्धिर्

 

मुनिर्मोक्षपरायणः ।

 

विगतेच्छाभयक्रोधो

 

यः सदा मुक्त एव सः ॥५.२८॥

...the wise man, who is dedicated to achieving liberation, whose sensual energy, mind and intellect are controlled, whose desire, fear and anger are gone, is liberated always. (5.28)
