Anesthesia Effects on Kundalini

After observing how anesthesia affects the kundalini, I can say now that medical drugs which affect consciousness should be avoided at all cost and only used if absolutely necessary as in medical work. It is best not to play around with any drugs for recreational use because you never know what it will do to the operation of the kundalini in the long range.

It took two weeks after getting anesthesia in the lower spine, for the kundalini to resume it normal way of operation during the breath infusement practice. Kundalini was paralyzed from the waist down for about 6 hours after the anesthesia was injected, but it was still affected for two weeks after. The chemicals do not move out of the gross body in one or two days. And the same thing can be said about the subtle part of the chemicals and their effects on the subtle body.

Even though there are so many involuntary actions taken by kundalini in the physical and subtle bodies, most of these are in the interest of the well-being of those bodies. So if kundalini is disabled by chemicals, it means that kundalini cannot do its job and so the spirit is deprived of kundalini’s services.

In the daily maintenance of this body, the main maintaining force is the kundalini. It is not the intelligence and it is certainly not the core-self, that big head. So one should take steps to help kundalini in its chores of maintaining this body in good health. As human beings, we become very vicious and defensive when our tongue is not allowed to taste whatever it wants to taste and to say whatever suits its fancy. But if we can detach ourselves from the sense of taste and sober up a little, we will greatly appreciate the services rendered by kundalini.

And we would act in a way which facilitates it maintenance functions.
