Anatomy changes / Subtle body

For a yoga siddha body the anatomical construction of the form is slightly different to that of an ordinary subtle body. An ordinary subtle body is the one we currently use in dreams and astral projection. This body seems to be a replica of the physical form but made of psychological stuff rather than physical materials. With an ordinary subtle body there is no hope for anything but repeated rebirth.

This is because of the construction of the form. Its anatomical parts are geared only for being supported by a physical form. This might be compared to the incidence of static electricity in the air. As soon as it is accumulated it tries to ground itself into the earth. Recently very high speed camera has shown that much of lightning is actually a case of the earth grounding itself to a cloud which is supercharged with static force. In that case both the earth and the cloud are charged with opposite polarity. Then due to attraction they ground out.

The earth itself however is shielded by its own magnetic and electrostatic power which keeps that static electricity from leaking out into space. A similar situation is there in the subtle body where it likes to have a gross form to anchor itself to.

For a yoga siddha form it is not a matter of hopes or of guru favor. It is a matter of changing the anatomical parts of the subtle body. But who will do that? If you are conformable with the present human body and with the subtle body which is in it in the form of subtle feelings and emotions, then why make an effort to change that?

Tibeti Yoga sent some information for me which arrived while I did the afternoon session of the breath infusion. This was an explanation of the changes made in a subtle body of a householder so that he or she creates a yoga siddha form in the astral world. The change takes place through certain kriya practices.

In the subtle body of a human being there is a kanda bulb which serves as a reservoir for reproductive energies. The counterpart of this in a physical body is the genital/reproduction apparatus either in the male or female form.

At first in kundalini yoga practice, the student is not concerned with this kanda bulb. The student focuses initially on getting kundalini to rise into the head without paying much attention to the sexual apparatus. Later however, the student must pay attention to the sexual apparatus in the effort to cause the sexual energy to be linked back to the kundalini so that it too can come up into the head of the subtle body. But all of this is preliminary and does not make for a yoga siddha form.

Tibeti’s message was this:

A person who is familiar with sexual expression in terms of sexual linkage of bodies, has a design in the subtle body which is different to that required for a yoga siddha form. There are higher astral heavens where the inhabitants are also concerned with sexual expression in this way, but they are not siddhas.

In the siddha body, those sexual expression designs are conspicuous by their absence, so that there is no kanda or sexual reservoir. The point being that there is no attraction like that and so no resistance to that is required.

A yoga siddha body looks like any other subtle body, except that it is brighter in terms of the light which emanates from it, but within it the construction is completely different to other subtle bodies.

On the earth, in a human body, a child or say 8 or 9 years of old does not have to resist the sex urge. The construction of the body causes it to be so that there is no urge to resist even in the presence of sexual exposure. There might be curiosity but there is no genuine sexual interest in the infants and toddlers. Similarly when the subtle body of a student changes as directed, it loses its sexual interest.

Instead of having a kanda bulb which holds a reservoir of subtle hormonal energy for sexual enjoyment usage, there is no bulb there. The design of that place is such that there is no place to hold such energy and there are no other organs which are in the form which are dedicated to just producing subtle sexual hormones.

A student yogi who was a celibate in youth and who remained a celibate, a Swami, that person if in past lives he was a sincere yogi celibate, will not be bothered with sexual energy. However that is rarely the case. In most cases, these fellows take the sannyasis or swami status superficially where it appears externally that they are celibate but in fact they are not because their bodies are generating and storing sexual hormones

These energies agitate them from within their minds and feelings and so eventually they engage in sex and are disgraced for breaking their swami vows.

You can begin to pull up the tubes and spread them out at the bottom of the trunk of the subtle body so that no energy is stored for sexual purposes.  The kanda bulb itself is destroyed and the storage tendency is removed from the subtle form. That would begin the deconstruction of a regular subtle body and its conversion into a yoga siddha form.

Yoga siddha forms are not bestowed by the yoga guru or by the deity. They are attained by kriya practice of the student himself or herself. The guru or deity provides the instructions on how to deconstruct the subtle body, to redesign it.

See below this diagram with the sex kanda. This was done last year and was a kriya which I was given by Swami Atmananda in the astral world. He is the guru of Tibeti Yogi. Notice that in this instruction there is allowance for the Kanda bulb and how to deal with it. This might give you some idea of how there is progression in these kriya practices. And that my subtle perception follows a progression and is not just some crazy imagination. Well in any case, at least there is a method to my madness.
