Hello everyone!

Glad to be back home and into the yogi cave. Today's diet only fresh veggie and fruit juices and a salad.

AM:

This morning my practice was reduced in time because of having to leave home early for a job. After prayer:

1) Breath infusion: Approximately 20 minutes of Bhastrika. Potent postures at the end arose Kundalini in similar fashion to yesterday's, but this morning I managed the locks to let it escape right away without losing awareness.

2) Meditation: Short meditation mostly Dharana due to time constrains. Concentration on the 3rd eye.

PM: Breath Infusion: While I was writing a report, and because I felt some exhaustion, I experimented with Bhastrika using the squeeze-brain technique, focusing on the brain breath when the air is absorbed into the mucus membrane. The fingers of both hands are interlocked on the forehead with the base of the hands squeezing the forehead, then one can direct the prana to different sections of the head. One can feel the air diffusing into the frontal sinuses and entering the brain. Revitalizing for the neurons.

MiBeloved's Response:

Tell us something about your vegetarian diet. How long has it been? Was it in your parental upbringing? Why do it in the first place?

Incredible, how quickly you adopt these kriyas!

Alfredo's Response:

Michael!

I have been a vegetarian on and off since 1987. Several times I had felt off the wagon and returned to it but since my introduction to Yoga in the mid 1990s, I have stayed away from beef.

There is no paternal influence, as I grew up in Cuba in a communist/atheist family (my father worked with Che Guevara and was high in Castro’s government), and arrived in the US alone with the Mariel flotilla in 1980 at the age of 25.

More recently I stepped up Yoga and then found you and this site and started getting back heavily into Yamas and Niyamas, but providence had another plans for me, and on this I have an “adesh” to share this here and now.

Last year while in Ramana Asrama where one walks barefooted I received a lesion on the plant of my right foot. The wound would not heal and later developed into what a podiatrist thought was a plantar wart. He made a hole there and it got worse. Finally, 2 weeks ago my wife dragged me to her dermatologist and Monday of last week I was diagnosed with a malignant (cancer) melanoma there, very aggressive and nasty. Thus the main objective of the strict diet now is to create the proper oxygenated environment to prevent spreading and promote healing.

All along Karma was fast catching up.

I am going for surgery this coming Thursday, so after that day I may disappear for a few days.

So…what is cancer? Better…what are cancer cells? You may say they are one of nowadays’ most-active Dark Karmic Agents. They are also one of the most selfish, rebellious and malignant cells in the history of cytology and biology, extremely egotistical and normally uncooperative. They not only migrate if threatened, but also surround themselves in cocoons of hard protein and smear healthy cells like T-cell with acids to dehumanize them and kill them and destroy them. Cancer cells can be tackled in 4 ways:

1)  By poisoning: The use of drugs like chemotherapy or by radiation. Problem here these methods do not discriminate and also poison healthy cells and create oxidosis (too much oxidation); and dysoxygenosis (too little oxygen) in the body.

2)   By Apotsosis:  Here the citadel is at the point of being conquered and the cancer cells, like Hitler in his bunker, agree to commit Harakiri (seppuku), and suicides. Here there is a conversion of the surroundings by oxygenosis and an increase in reduction (the opposite of oxidation).

3)  By Remission: Here the cancer cells agree to cooperate, as they know they are being surrounded, so they thrive in a boundary and stay there. These are the cases of tumor remission that stay the same size for many years. At the lowering of the guard (diet, spiritual, etc), they are on the move again.

4)    By Conversion: This is the most difficult, but the most successful approach, as it is a spiritual approach. Here, cancer cells are asked to convert back to use oxygen instead of sugar that ferments into alcohols and lactic acid. That this is a fact is testified by the many tumors that have disappeared. This is aligned with the cell cancer model proposed by 1931 German Nobel prize Warburg, with a difference, he, a biochemist, stated the process, once removed from aerobic, is irreversible, other doctors state that it is reversible. I believe the latter.

So the diet answer is here, I am on a diet that promotes oxygenation, changes the pH of the blood and tissue to alkaline (higher than pH 7), cleanse the body of toxins, and frees the immune system to do its job properly. There is more to it, but one more thing, what is the greatest natural technique to promote blood oxygenation?: Bhastrika Pranayam. Think about that.

So that I have asked Adonai, I made a vow (actually a Mahavrat) that anything left for me to live (I am 58 now) will be spent in the practice of Yoga, austerities and helping others’ with cancer awareness and approaches, so that months are not wasted looking at warts that are not (ignorance, Avidya).

So, finally…what is death? I wish I could say or believe that death is OK, like many in the spiritual community nowadays, but I don’t. Death is not OK; it is the greatest slap in the face of the yogi, if he/she does not prepare for it. Even if life would be perfect, just by this ignominy called death I would chose, given the opportunity, to never return to this stage again.

So now you know why I did not go to get your darshan and get instructions, then my highest priority, for I have to first get this out of the way.

Alfredo,

Thanks for the brief.

Advise that if you are using sugar, consider dropping it.

If you are using Indian (India) cuisine, consider vast reduction of the spices.

Spend at least 20 minutes per day on your back with legs and feet up on a chair, couch or bed., to allow the blood to drain back to the lungs where some of the carbon dioxide will be changed out for fresh air.

Perhaps the check valves in the feet have run their course and are no longer working efficiency which will result in the blood there not to return to the lungs for gas exchange which is just what the malignant cells are hoping for.

Keep us posted on the medical development, if not for any reason but the purpose of education regarding how these things are treated and what succeeds and what doesn't.

So why did you take a body in a place like Cuba especially at that time in history?

Ichigo!

Thanks for your kind wishes.

Michael!

Thanks for the answer. I was afraid you would send me one of them "system is finished" emails, ha, ha.

Alfredo's Reply:

Of course, that's the first thing I did, cancer cells are 100% anaerobic and feed only on sugar, cut off the sugar and you slow them down, even starve them. They ferment the sugar and produce several types of toxic alcohols and lactic acid. It is these toxic substances that they use to attack and smear healthy cells that approach them, such a T-cells.

Alfredo's Reply:

Of course also, any spice or anything for that matter that overloads the liver (and spices do) must be avoided to free up energy and cleansing potential of that organ. Only Turmeric is here recommended.

Alfredo's Reply:

This is also good in principle, but there is a catch here. Yes, the oxygenation is correct, but you don't want to move the lymph up on purpose for it may carry the cancel cells into the nodules. It is better to do Pranayam (as a side kick after yoga practice) and direct the prana/oxygen to the area.

Alfredo's Reply:

No, I am in very good shape, and exercise several times a week, thus the pulse in the foot's veins is quite strong, indicative of good circulation.

Alfredo's Reply:

I am unconscious to this. I wish I knew. But I can tell you that there were several hard knocks, for at 23 I was thrown in jail for opposing the government and beaten severely several times, and since then was estranged with my father.
