This is a very important realization. Even if you are detached, still nature will send the rewards that it feels are due to you and then what?

So that is another important part of yoga practice, which is to learn how to manage those returns. It is not always in one's best interest not to deal with those favorable or unfavorable opportunities and circumstances in a detached manner.

Bhagavad Gita is a case where a man wanted to just escape from having to face the circumstances which life threw his way, the cards it dealt to him, but Krishna (who said that he was the Supreme God and no one else) told that man to stand and face the situation and deal with it in an impartial way.

Von, I feel that this one sentence of yours about those returns coming anyway speaks volumes for your level of advancement.
