I think the reality is that America is a media driven culture, which means that the hazards of that must be endured by everyone who is part of America. In a herd, the mistakes of a few leading animals could lead to herd disaster, unless somehow or the other, the herd turns away from the decision of those few. These risks are ever-present in any collective!
