  • What alternative does he offer? Is he self-aware? What does he know about NATO? He does say that it is antiquated and that IMO is straight-up following in lockstep with the Kremlin’s playbook.

Yet it may be considered worse to publicly state the mindset of Putin and accept it over the US secret services, the nation he is elected to serve and protect. Anyways, the commonalities abound. Putin dares moan about cancel culture only because of such communalities with the right wing echo chambers.

Everybody has some interest somewhere apart from North Korea and maybe Cuba under Castro. The important thing is the strength of the alliance (too bad for Ukraine ?? it’s a no for now). They are rallying to take the measures that apply, under very strenuous circumstances and a lot of duress for Zelensky.

He has provided inspiration that is bruising the ego of an autocrat going dictator isolationist, no time for child play. Adjustments in objectives have happened before for the preservation, formation and furthering of alliances. He has been pointedly wrong on a lithany of things when he wasn’t outright lying with a remarkably straight face or worse falsifying a map with a charpie on the world stage.

Does he really think that Putin is a genius for this fk up?Will he ever let it go? Does he have self-awareness?Should he really be pursuing this particular way to return to power? And is that just to make his opponents pay? Now to think the rot has reached the supreme court, lawfulness might as well be flushed down the toilet.

Ultimately, all such autocrats have a certain motivation, and with their allure to nationalism and similar attributes imperil the values of democracy as set from the lessons of the previous 2 WW’s. So in the long run this is really interesting. It is quite the tug of war.
