Comment to 'Human form from ape?'
  • Humans are distinct and flattered by their higher intelligence, but it is  faulty and incomplete.

They came to convince themselves in most cases of their superiority over nature, as well as the presence of nature in a subservient position to them.

So, it is normally the case that humans do not have an idea of what they are as an agents of nature and or who they are as distinct and immaterial essential selves.

The conclusive position is adopted when we can conceive of ourselves as selves going through the experience of living, not individuals who have to prove ourselves to be above all.
