Types of Kundalini in a way texture or quality?  A very good question, it took some time to answer. Discussed with Madhva, again asking nut & bolt questions to answer yours with my little experience.

Kundalini is like an electric discharge. In a solid medium like wire, the current flows like AC & DC current. That is like Nadis, you have kundalini flow like current in those wire-like nadis. The experience is more like Thunder in sky.

But when it comes to head it behaves like a sprite, halo or electron-positron beam (see the attached image). 

In higher dimensions, kundalini behaves like an electric discharge in a gaseous medium like shown in the picture. 

From Front Kundalini you see glimpses of Halo, electron-positron beam. In zonal or whole body kundalini you have a halo, elves, gigantic jet all those experiences full time in your full body.

Halo is very interesting, when it happens it comes exactly like that color pattern in red, blue, or another color in your intestine (mostly but can happen at other zones) and then becomes like elve in the whole body. 

This is the link from where the pictures are taken. The cell, zonal or whole body kundalini experience and electric discharge in the gaseous stage are very simlar.

Feel on the physical body is just like the name suggests like sprite, halo, etc. Imagine those visuals shown happen inside your subtle body and the impact it can have is same as the name suggests (yes, like a blue jet), that's how it feels.
