It stands to reason! We could simply say that whatever one’s life has been principally and primarily about is one’s path and ultimate destination. But Krishna is very particular in this regard, stating in the Gita that, one attains the condition/state of whatever one’s existential texture.

Considering the imminence of instantaneous gratification that is the hallmark of drug addiction, upon expiration of the physical body, such individuals would most definitely spontaneously make a beeline to such drug heaven, like flies to their favorite odor.
