Comment to 'Voices in My Head'
  • I understand and accept that no entity is an island in and of themselves alone, with the exception of the Godhead, for being the primordial, self-sufficient progenitor.

All others are present by dint of some relationship with others. Based on that premise alone others may occupy some others' psyche. And, in such a way, my offspring occupies my psyche in terms of concerns to render him service for instance.

Throughout the day and night, so long as one’s psyche is (or one exists in this realm) there are constant shenanigans of influencing or even pressuring others to perform, as extended agents of one’s will and desires. Difficulties in assessing this in my view would be due to pronounced and skewed identification with the material form, along with a misconstrued assessment of the nature of the self against the background of the intellect (or mind - as generally thought of).

RishiDeva, you have the advanced ability since early years, and farther back to detect psychic energies and track as well as analyze them. But thoughts intrusion is still a normal and all-pervasive phenomenon.

Therefore, it is a critical goal of Patanjali’s yogic accomplishment sequence to develop pratyahara and further on, and inSelf Yoga practice involves latching onto naad sound bypassing all other background noises (to include thought energies).

This mechanism speaks to behind the scene formation of mental ideations. It does not address the jurisdiction of actions carried out by the one who is ultimately entitled and charged with moving and implicating the material body. That, yes, the actual individual person who answers for the body also answers for its actions. I consider it part of body politics.
