The way some cars are of to the side of the road with no combustible to the left and only the body of water there, makes it difficult to understand how the fire would get to them specifically.

It appears to me that there had to be some type of a voracious will/ desire to consume/ combust ravenously. Maybe it’s just my myopia, but I see supernatural forces in that particular scenario.
