Tibetan Kundalini Yoga

    • Interesting video. It is posted for at least the second time on the inSelf Yoga sites. So long as the energy is driven to rise, it is encouraging to understand that the particular modalities of practice can vary. So, I feel that those with physical challenges can succeed in realizing their kundalini.

The visualization part of the large body with a heat energy circle in the center of the subtle body is helpful at a certain level certainly. But it is also interesting that the benefits to health and body are mentioned in the beginning to capture the attention of the psychic explorer.

Perhaps that is visible on his skin and over the supple and light aired body. It should be specified that those are only by-products. The nitty-gritty is stated later on by the older monk.

There is a stress on the "paranormal" side as well as the mystical one. Considering the amount of knowledge in the Bardo Thotol, the Tibetan book of the dead, it is possible that there were or still are insights into to the next condition in the subtle realm as far as Tibetan mystic yoga is concerned.

I also wonder about the part of dreams for these advanced yogis. Considering how Buddhist monks trace a next Dalai lama through dreams which guide them gradually to the reincarnation, there could also have been and possibly still is an integration of dream realizations in the yoga. After all, accessing subtle reality through dreams with an awoke awareness is a normal part of mysticism.

Ultimately, intention makes the most difference, that sets the direction.
