Sky of Consciousness Textures

So far, I discovered two textures of the sky of consciousness. One is more commonly experienced than the other. This conventional one feels like cooling moonlight with bliss radiating everywhere, saturating whatever enters or is near to it. The other, the rarer experience is sunlike and has a bliss aspect but has a slight light-yellow hue. The conventional one has a silverfish snow colored hue with a cooling bliss sensation in every aspect.

Yogeshwarananda give an instruction for collection of supernatural light. This is used from the naad absorption location, where the yogi first becomes absorbs in naad and then remains anchored there, while reaching forward and collecting scattered light.

He switches from one to the other in and out continuously in a rhythm which is similar to breathing. The idea is to gain access to chit akash sky of consciousness. The impediment or prohibitive aspect is the thought formation/response mechanism which runs on automatically in the mind and which is reactive to any psychic energy it senses. Patanjali prohibited yogis from using this reactive mental system while doing meditation. Indeed, one cannot succeed in yoga until one gets this reaction system silenced.

There are many prohibitions and alarms for spiritual processes but at a certain stage the external behaviors are not the focus, only the internal relationship between the coreSelf and its adjuncts have meaning. No matter what, the inspection is not about the external social behaviors in the physical or astral existence but the situation and position of the coreSelf while these activities take place.

For this procedure of Yogeshwarananda, the yogi holds and gathers the scattered light energy which is in the frontal part of the subtle head. He does this while being anchored securely in naad sound resonance. Just as he is absorbed in naad, he remains with that while grasping the light energy. This action leads to the opening into the chit akash sky of consciousness. He may experience the moonlike or sunlike bliss energy and its corresponding light feature as the mental energy which usually shrouds the core parts away like a cloudy sky breaking and causing sunlight to reach an observer.
